@Surreal's spoilers,  :lol :clap :lol :clap :lol

@VennD
there are gloves that grant Throwing and Returning but they're 10k.

I suggest going with normal thrown weapons. Just throw a fuckton of them.
Rapid Shot, Whirling Frenzy, Haste, Palm Throw and the ability to hit two with one throw (Halfling Skiprocks, the Talenta Boomerang feats)

2d6 SA
Craven
Shiba Protector 1 might be out of range but it'll add Wis to Attack && Damage (might only work on melee... check OA)
Shadow Blade for Dex to damage (if you use Aptitude daggers emulating the boomerang feats)
Hit and Run Fighter from Underdark adds Dex to damage against Flatfooted opponents again
Targeeter Fighter from Dragon Magizine adds Dex to damage again
Dead Eye from Dragon Compendium will add Dex to damage again

Hmm, Targeteer substitutes Dex for str.
Hit and Run Fighter could be useful.
Craven maaaaybe, more-so at later levels.
Shadow Blade if I manage to add a level or two of swordsage (Couldn't hurt!)
Dead Eye requires BAB 14, so that's out of the picture. For this campaign, anyway.
Also, Shiba Protector apparently doesn't specify melee or ranged... however, it does specify for Humans only. I think those classes were updated in a Dragon magazine, maybe? Dunno.

Shiba Protector has no errata. Dead Eye is errata'd to BAB +1.

Except just qualifying for Daring Outlaw does nothing. Without any Rogue levels to dual-advance, you're still only advancing Swashbuckler levels.
Well, it's debatable that by just advancing Swashbuckler that you still get the rogue goodies. Fuzzy wording and all that.

Bloodstorm Blade would be a good way to get that returning weapon. Just Marrulurk/Warblade/BSB maybe? The problem though is that now you're lagging behind in sneak attack.

Seeing as we already have 2 ToB melee types and a Summoner, I think melee combat and flanking would be the easiest way to get SA. Not sure about ways to get it for a ranged character, never played a ranged rogue before :shrug

Well, going ranged is sounding like the easiest way to hit multiple enemies, though taking single targets down faster via flanking is useful, too. I just need to make sure my little guy is tougher. ;)

That Wis boost combined with Swordsage helps at least somewhat for that :)

By the way, are there any other ways to get extra uses of Nauseating breath than taking Dragontouched and Extra Exhalation? It seems like an awfully big waste of an extra feat just to get one more use per day. On that note, most metabreath feats don't specify breath weapons that deal damage, or are usable per round vs. per day, so I could technically take, say, Heighten Breath and get double my Con bonus to the save DC. :P

Metabreath feats require a recharge time expressed in rounds. You can't use it on per/day. Sorry  :(

Whoops, I knew that, but glanced over it when looking up feats. It doesn't help that I haven't slept in a long time due to course work.

Still, is there any other way to boost the number of times I can use it?
Hmm, there's Bonus Breath, but it requires "Extend Spell or Extend Spell-like Ability". I wonder if Bowen would let me swap that part out for Extend Supernatural Ability from Tome of Magic? It fits the theme, and I imagine it would be updated to include that if there was a chance. That way, one of two times I can make the nauseated effect last twice as long, too. Not bad (not great, but not bad).

I know this isn't helpful, but I remember... somewhere... I read something that grants you the ability to use one of your Su abilities one extra time per day. Maybe it was the Soul Eater capstone?

I seem to remember a half-dragon feat that boosted the number of times they could use their breath weapon per day. I think it was from the Draconomicon, but there might be a newer version. Ask if Bowen would let you take that? (It might have even been worded generically enough to let you take it RAW, but I don't think it was...)

From Races of the Dragon, it requires you to be a Half-Dragon of 6HD and allows you to use your breath weapon every 1d4 rounds like a true dragon. I don't think he'll let me since that constitutes homebrewing, I think. :/

Still, that would be awesome, and allow me to take metabreath feats. ;)

Power Surge would let you do it too. From Dragon 313. But it will suck because it's only 1/day anyways.

Unless you got silly and stacked the SHIT outta those meatbreaths and delayed your next breath for 24 hours.

Power Surge isn't 1/day, but it only applies to an ability that's usable 3 or more times per day and adds 1 to number or rounds between uses.

Still, it would take a very heavy feat investment to get there for this ability. Unless I could take that half-dragon feat.  :D

Ah you're right. I'm using Power Surge to give my DFA breath weapon a recharge timer so I can Metabreath it. Forgot about the 3/day thing.

so what do you think you're going with? I think a Dex based monster would do great. I might even suggest starting the game as Fighter 1. With Hit and Run and Targeteer that's Dex to Damage twice already.

How would I do that? Honestly I'm not sure if that would work unless I got the class skill somehow.
I've already got to make sure a target is flat-footed to get that second bit of dex to damage. In fact, I really ought to start looking up ways to catch foes flat-footed.

Just put in a single rank cross-class, and pick up a masterwork tool.  Provided your charisma isn't awful, it'll add a few more d6
