which is why we houseruled that yoru hit point total is partly your physical condition and partly fatigue - in actuality you dodged that giant club but you got a little more tired doing so. except when he crits, but those are crits and they're supposed to be dramatic :p

But that...

Where'd I put that damn Psyduck emote?

...which is essentially how Gary Gygax described hit points waaay back in first edition.  You're right on the same page as E.G.G. :)

This spell is mentioned in the cleric handbook but I seen no one else recommend it.

Tyche's Touch
Lost Empires of Faerun page 35
Cleric 2
Standard action cast, duration is 24 hours :love or until all the 4 uses are used
Target gains a protective ward and gets a +4 sacred bonus on his 1st save he experiences after the spell is cast, +3 sacred bonus on his 2nd save, +2 sacred bonus on his 3rd save, +1 sacred bonus on his 4th save
There is also a curse option (which is less strong since you must do a touch attack and do a will saving throw) that is the exact opposite doing a penalty to saves.

Why wouldn't you want the cleric to have this as one of his 2nd level slots.  The party will be buying multiple pearls of powers for themselves just like they should be buying pearls of power for magic vestment and greater magic weapon.

Once all 4 uses are used (or if you dismiss the spell) then just recast it for another +4 bonus to your saves.

Conjuration (Creation)
Level: Sorcerer/wizard 6
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Effect: One disk
Duration: Permanent until discharged (D)
Saving Throw: See text
Spell Resistance:

The neat thing about this spell? It seems like it should be able to store a persisted Divine *Power.

-edit- for fail spell reference.

We all know Arcane Spellsurge, right? Knock down the action cost on all spells by one step. But then you can't cast two Standard action spells in one round. You can if you take Invisible Spell, a +0 metamagic to increase to casting time to a Full Round, which gets knocked down to a Standard Action.

Also works with a few others, but yeah.

Sunic may be more abrasive than sandpaper coated in chainsaws (not that its a bad thing, he really does know what he's talking about), but just posting in this thread without warning and telling him he's an asshole which, if you knew his past experiences on WotC and Paizo is flat-out uncalled for. Never mind the insults (which are clearly 4Chan-level childish). You say people like Sunic are the bane of the internet? Try looking at your own post and telling me you are better than him.

Here's a fun fact: You aren't. By a few leagues.

What else? I know a couple other +0 metamagics but none with no prerequisites that can be applied to all spells.

I love Thunderlance and Sakkratar's Triple Strike. As earlier mentioned Friendly Fire is really nice.

PS: Since I didn't see it mentioned in the thread: Threesteel is from Dragons of Faerun.

This is a fun one for Shadowcraft Mages, if you have spells left at the end of the day.

create disk, imbue, wrap in paper / label/ file for later use.

'lets see where did i put those cure critical disks? i know they are here somewhere.'

Which also dodges the problems of accidentally breaking them when you roll a 1 on your save against a damage spell.

Bonus, if you have a load of damage spells. They break the disk, they take the spell.

What's that weapon, the Gnome Calculus? Load them into the calculus and have the party rogue throw them at people for direct damage + sneak attack fun, without needing a lot of Op Fu.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...

Heal disks if you can find a friendly adept or your DM allows sanctum magic tricks.

I always liked the familar belt for these since it gives you something to do with all those pockets.  One for each spell.

I still like using a shadowcraft mage with spell thematics to make the disks into cookies and pies.

That being said, how about Owl's Insight?  It gets no love, and it's an amazing buff spell for a Druid.  An insight bonus to Wisdom of half your caster level, for an hour?  That's pretty amazing, particularly if you have some way of jacking up your caster level.

Node casting circle magic shenanigans via shadow limited wish emulation?

Okay, that Delicate Disk spell is amazing.

Anyway, I think Ghoul Glyph is a spell that needs more attention.  It lasts forever when cast and creates paralysis with no save... and is second level.  That's awesome.  The cast time makes it harder to use of course.
