Just My Imagination?

I'm sure I saw it in one of the books, but you'd think I could find it? I'm sure I didn't imagine it, but does anyone know where the chain whip is? And I don't mean spiked chain. I'm talking about the variant whip that's made out of chain.

Chain lash is in Savage Species. == Spiked chain without the spikes. Whip dagger is in the A&EG. Just what is sounds like.

Why isn't this in the ask a simple question thread, anyway?

Didn't know that we had such a thread.

EDIT: That's not what I'm thinking of. The chain lash is a large sized weapon. This was an actual variant on the whip, and the whip dagger isn't it either.

It's in the Min/Max boards.  Here's the current link.  The thread keeps getting recreated when it hits 50 pages.  The basic idea is to consolidate all little questions like these that don't necessarily need an entire thread.  Questions likely to spur a lot of discussion typically get their own threads.

Anyway, as to your question.  Is the Kau Sin Ke something like what you're looking for?  It's actually a real weapon that you'll see in some of the Asian-themed books.  Other than that, the closest thing I can think of for "chain" was from 2E Combat & Tactics.

Maybe? I don't know. Maybe I did imagine it. I could have sword I actually saw a whip, much like the whip dagger, that was all chain. Like, not a picture of it, but a write up of it saying chain whip.
