that is a valid point and it is only one dead feat so i could use a flaw to get it.  and i didnt realize that thier is actually 5 spells in abjuration that have a save for them.  i thought i was only maw of chaos and i am not 100% sure i will get to 17th level to cast it.  though it is possible

It's a little cheesy, but you could have your first level feats be spell focus and precocious apprentice then you can early qualify for Master specialist at level 2 and go into it at 3. Take the 3 levels for the two feats you need. Then take War weaver for 5 then Initiate of the Seven fold Veil. So it'd look like...

Silverbrow Human
Abjurer 2/Master Specialist 3/War Weaver 5/Initiate of the Seven Fold Veil 5. You might want to grab Improved initiative with the fighter/wizard feat ACF. Then when you level to sixteen you can retrain precocious apprentice into something else because you still qualify for all your PrCs.

Now with your feats you'll want to focus on Snow Casting/Draconic Aura/Cold Focus/Eschew Materials (Maybe). What this will do is give all your spells +5 DC (Cold focus/Greater Cold Focus +2, Draconic Aura [Energy] +3 [Will become +4 eventually]) and your abjuration spells will be at +7. So now only will you be able to move action buff your whole party but you'll also have amazing battle field control/save or die/save or suck spells because of all the extra DCs.

i really like that idea evn without the retraining but can you list were the feats are all located ( the DC ons you listed) so i can have the sources ready.  I dont like not having the paper to back up what i put down on a charector sheet

If you have a psion buddy, don't forget to PsyRef Precocious Apprentice away once it's no longer needed.  Or if not, simply retrain it.

If you could be a dragonwrought kobold with one of the loredrake competitors, that should let you cast cleric spells as a wizard (no lost CL).

The chameleon builds we're talking about in another thread would also be very good, and more interesting.

Best,
David

Quote from: unknown
Non-PC activities like out of combat healing should be left to wands and NPCs. It's not fun to play a walking wand of CLW. Likewise, being a combat wall is not a viable PC role. A Wall of Force could do that.

-Sort of, but you left out the important note that a Wall of Force does it better.

The most powerful character is the one that you actually get to play.

I often have to remind people not to underrate divination.  The ability to effectively metagame without actually metagaming beats the ability to set things on fire more times than not.

p30, dragons of eberron.

For example, "Lightkeeper - ... A lightkeeper can cast cleric spells ... as arcane spells".  It isn't a domain ... just something a true dragon can choose.

Best,
David
