Depends on base class. A Binder can get it by binding Zceryll without needing to take a feat.

Getting a familiar that has telepathy (like a Pseudodragon) through Imp Familiar also works.

Best way to get essentia in it? Have a donor with essentia in the party. (Yeah, I've found it to be somewhat underwhelming.)

Q 141Is there any other way?  Preferably one that doesn't involve being evil?

A 141

Give your familiar/psicrystal/animal companions/cohort/follower/other biatch of choice some incarnum feat that it won't be using anyway?

Get an incarnum race peasant hireling on the cheap to donate that essentia.

A139: Control Temperature? Setting the Temperature at Hellish would amount to that.

Where would I find that spell, I cannot seem to locate it.

Q142 Can you persist a spell, then extend it to make it last 48 hours?

A142: Yes.  Some DMs may frown on this, but technically it's legal.

A142: As far as I can tell nothing forbids it and it appears to work but some people seem to think it does not work.

Frostburn, page 92. There's no temperature band called "hellish", but there is one (see Sandstorm) called "burning". It deals 3d10 fire damage per round, not insignificant considering the duration of Control Temperature (hours).

Designing a Focused Abyssal Wizard staring at low level, and need stuff to fill my slots....

Q 143  Are there any fear effect spells at level 3 or less that aren't Necromancy?

A143: What schools are permitted for you? Enchantment has just one - Rebuke (SL 2, SC, page 170). Illusion has XXX - Vertigo (SL 2, PHB2, page 127), Wall of Gloom (SL 2, SC, page 233), Phantasmal Assailants (SL 2, SC, page 154), and Glimpse of Fear (SL 1, Dragon 333, page 71). (I used the Spell Search.)

I suppose so. The FAQ has mentioned that a twinned maximized spell deals double max damage, so you are apparently allowed to determine the order in which the feats affect the spell (which I assume will be in a manner most advantageous to you).

If anything, only the empower/maximize entry seems to mention anything to the contrary, so we can safely assume that is a special case limited only to interactions between these 2 feats.

So yes, you could have persistent spell apply first to extend its duration to 24 hours, then apply extend spell to double that to 48 hours. :)

Q 144:Is there a Dnd 3.5 Hwacha written up anywhere?
A player once asked me if there was any way to make a Tarrasque more evil... 3 sessions later he was stoned with D20s as the PC led an exidus out of the path of a Dire Tarrasque of Legendary Wonder.

Q145 Can anyone link me to the discussion thread on what powers/feats/etc non-turn-undead turning attempts can be used to fuel? I thought I had saved it, and apparently haven't.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.

Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Doesn't have everything, but it has most. Complete Champion and Fiendish Codex 2 aren't included, for instance, nor are any classes such as Divine Prankster.

Thank you. I don't know how I was unable to find it.
