Silly question time, what's ACF stand for?  I understand what it is, I'm just trying to get what ACF stands for.  Sorry, I'm slightly OCD and this is driving me crazy.

Most of us CO types are at least slightly OCD, especially when we're working on a build.  ACF = Alternate Class Feature.

You know, I should include a glossary of CO acronyms in the Beginner's Guide to Optimization that I'm working on.
KellKheraptis, who has notebooks full of CO and TO builds, just because he could.
Heh, same here :lol

Cleric: Spontanous domain and cloistered cleric
Fighter: dungeoncrasher
Wizard: martial wizard, elf generalist, abrupt jaunt, rapid summoning
Barbarian: whirling frenzy, lion totem, wolf totem (UA)
Paladin: paladin of tyranny, mystic fire knight

Let's get creative...we'll trade out our animal companion (and they lose something else too...) on a Wild Reaper, since we're getting a Dragon Cohort anyway, for Druidic Avenger.  Pick up Raged Casting.  Take advantage of all the feats that add to rage, oh and trade off that fast movement for Pounce.  Now in the version in front of me, I had traded FA for something too, but can't remember it (possibly Rage from a ranger variant).  The end result is casting quickened spells (thanks to Arcane Spellsurge) while raging as a dragon, and being able to have all day buffs from DMM Persist.  Hell, you can even DMM Quicken too if you want, just dangle those Nightsticks off your Monk's Belt of Battle that's got a wilding clasp on it :P

To think I ever doubted the power of my namesake...with access to the big three spell lists, I would call a Druid Tier 0, as they're already a strong Tier 1, but now can fuck with time like a wizard, and persistify shit like a Wiz/Cleric/Archivist.  It's like all the versatility of an erudite with none of the workaround.

can i get a listing of each location of each thing mentioned in that build by chance

there is a lot i dont understand and id'e like to be able to at least give it a try

The Monk Variations from UA are nice too for those wonderful Monk dips for those front loaded Monk goodies and several feats.

Also I would mention Dungeon Specialist for those multiclassing sorts, trade in a redundant Evasion for a Climb speed.  Not bad especially if your not a caster.

ion Totem Barbarian is one of the all-time favourites, and it's not Something-for-nothing - you do lose the Fast Movement +10', which is better until +6 BAB.

Not if you have natural attacks...  ;)

And/or also take the Whirling Frenzy variant. :D

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

Gnome Illusionist: Silent Image as a 1st Leveler = More Shadowcraft Fun
Goliath Barb = Mountain Rage is awesome
Immediate Magic = Conjuration, Illusion (Lesser extent)
Educated Wilder (Makes the class playable)
Hexblades Dark Companion + SoD Wizard = Angry DM
True Sign of Player Paranoia:
Player:"I look out of the keep"
DM:"There are no visible armies"
Player:"Aw crap theres an Invisible army!"

The Mystra Ranger thing where you trade in your AC for more spells hasn't been mentioned yet. I can't think of a better use for that AC.

The one in PHB2 appeals more to me, given that i've never liked the ranger spells all that much.

Spell Compedium and/or Sword of the Arcane Order take care of that.

I don't know about "Best", but these are the ACFs I favor...

Hexblade Dark Companion
Sorcerer Metamagic Specialist
Stalwart Sorcerer or Battle Sorcerer.  Both if going for a Familiar-buffer build.
Ranger Wildshape (Where can I find Mystic Ranger?) and/or FE:  Arcanists
Conjurer Abrupt Jaunt

Mystic Ranger is from some Dragon magazine. You can also find it at www.crystalkeep.com .
