so don't be a Beholder ... be something else.
PAO is one of the few INT jackers.
Plus you can get whatever form you want.
Of course, if it's not available then fizzle.

PAO? ParaAgnostic Ordained?

Warblade 10//Factotum 8/Chameleon 2 is a great gestalt build. Too bad that humans and changelings can't get extra Intelligence (though as noted earlier, polymorph any object does well for getting extra Int. It's how I can get a wizard who rolled an 8 for Intelligence up to mid-40s by mid-levels (say, 11 or 12 - as soon as a scroll is affordable)).

Take lots of Fonts of Inspiration. Use your floating feat for crafting. Take some of those artificer crafting feats (Extraordinary Artisan, etc, in the Eberron Campaign Setting) to decrease your XP/GP expenses, and triple your starting gear. Make sure to buy yourself a power stone of psychic reformation and ranks in Use Psionic Device (which you can, of course, then reformat out). Make a Heward's Fortified Bedroll (3000 gp to regain your spells in 1 hour of rest 1/day), some metamagic rods, and a nice weapon or two.

Take ranks in Iaijutsu focus to deal lots of extra damage on your strikes, and maybe a feycraft weapon.

Go nuts!

I agree that these are awesome, but if you read it carefully you'll see that you can only benefit from one every other day. (And it also says you can't just buy two of them and alternate, either.)

I can't use Psionic devices or rules. Other than that what Poly Shape should I pick out and also where can I find rules for Feycraft weapons / Iaijutsu focus.

I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

See if you can't become an outsider so you can PaO into one. Neraphim (from the Planar Handbook) are LA +0 outsiders, as are humanoids with the Otherworldly feat. Also, star elves.

Planetars have Int 22, and are 14 HD creatures. Balors have 20 HD (so, probably a bit out of your league), and 24 Int. Nalfeshnee have Int 22 and are 14 HD. Ice devils (gelugons) are 14 HD and 22 Int. Pit fiends (probably the one you'll want to go after, if you can make the UMD check) have 18 HD and 26 Int.

If you aren't naturally an outsider (for a given value of 'natural'), then find a way to cast it on yourself twice in a row to make it a permanent duration buff.

Then just do the standard thing with age categories (+3), level ups (+5 by level 20), tomes and/or wish abuses (+5; you can get infinite wishes as soon as you get access to lesser planar binding), items (+6), and potentially PrCs (check the crystal master and similar). I'm sure there are other ways, as well.

PAO caps at 15 HD though. Sarrukh has an intelligence score of 30 or so and is obtainable with PAO.

If you go with Iajuitsu Focus, a Gnomish Quickrazor is your best friend (preferably Feycraft).  That ensures you can do your IF damage with every attack (as long as you can flat foot them... Grease and Glitterdust are great for that).

Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.

I know, how dumb. The real draw of the Sarrukh is that it gets Fireball 2/day.

ooooh Black Ethergaunt sounds intimidating, what is it?

Edit: Just looked at it 16 int modifier would be sick. Remember that it applies to initative as well so before imp. init and with the +5 they get to dex I'll have over 20 at level 10 before I roll.

Use that feat from PGtF which lets you boost air or fire spells beyond their cap, combine with Snowcasting and Energy Substitution (fire)?
