Q267 : What means are there of raising manifester level via gear?  Is anything published or am I to rely on transparency for pricing (and Create Psionic Tattoo as a transfered power from being a StP/Mantled Erudite)?

Q 266

What Rogue racial sub levels or ACFs are there that substitute Trap Sense? Assume only three levels of Rogue. Lightbringer Rogue for half SA to Undead comes to mind, but Truedeath Crystal does it better (although ACFs can be retrained later). Any other good ones? Again, assume that race is irrelevant.

Changeling Rogue:  3rd level: Minor Lore (+1 to knowledge checks, +1 every 3 levels), lose trap sense
Golden Hands of Vergadain Substitution Levels:  3rd level: gain Track, lose trap sense. Gain bonuses to tracking in place of trap sense
Goliath Rogue:  3rd level: Wild Sense (bonus to knowledge: nature checks), lose trap sense
Penetrating Strike:  Lose trap sense. Whenever you sneak attack something normally immune to sneak attack damage, do half your normal dice of sneak attack damage.
Quick Fingers:  Lose one level of trap sense to reduce the time needed to disarm traps.
Rilkan Rogue:  3rd level: Bardic Knowledge, Bonus feat, lose trap sense

All of which can be found here.
The DM giveth and the rogue taketh away.
I have a 5 in Charisma and Diplomacy is a cross-class skill.  Hopefully I don't piss off too many people.

Q268a Is there anything that will allow a Paladin's divine grace to work in an AoE or affecting all allies? Something like that, or alternatively a different class feature that functions to much the same effect?

Q268b Best tanking setup in the game, what class/es make a tier 0/1 tank?

Wondered if there was a better way when it comes to focused defence than just relying on something in tier 1. lol what was I thinking.

Is there any way for a straight incarnate to get a familiar?  (I want something I can share soulmelds with, without having to take levels of anything not incarnate)
A262: Magical Training + Practiced Spellcaster + Obtain Familiar feats?

It's a pretty big investment, but it's the only thing that comes to mind at the time, sorry.

Aberrant Dragonmark does the same without PS, but both are are pretty setting specific, so i was hoping for something else.

I remembered a bunch of feats that gave you a 2-3 cantrips as SLA's, and was wondering if anyone remembered what book they were in... might work for a familiar.   Anyone?

Or there's always hidden talent -> Psicrystal

Moddarnit, the feat cost is heavy....

You forgot Spell Sense from Complete Mage, dodge bonus to AC against spells and spell-likes.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

Q 269 Stonefoot Stance says that it gransts "a +2 bonus on Strength checks and a +2 bonus to AC against creatures of a size category larger than yours".  Is the bonus to strength checks only against larger creatures, or does the restriction apply only to the AC bonus?

A 268a: from my lists of stuff...
Gift of Grace, feat, Book of Exalted Deeds, share divine grace with allies, see text

There's also the Marshal (MH), Outcast Champion (RoD) and Mythic Exemplar (CC) who have class abilities that provide bonuses to your allies' saves. I had an old build on 339 called "Reikhardt is your buddy" which essentially pumped out +9 or more to all saves to everyone around me, with the potential to stack it all onto Will if I wanted.

Does that work with maneuvers by RAW?  And you forgot the vitality belt. +120 hp at level 20 is nothing to laugh at.

Nice find, thanks both of you. Looks like +140 at 20th with Improved Essentia Capacity. Now if only there was a way to get Crusader Devoted Spirit stuff without being a stinky Crusader : p I don't like their recovery mechanic too much.

Do you still have the Reikhardt is your buddy build?

are you talking about something that is exclusively Dung.Mag. stuff?  otherwise, the crystal keep resources have a bunch of stuff scattered throughout.  Is that the kind of thing you're talking about?  I'm not quite sure what you're asking/looking for.

I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.

Q 271
Regarding the Sculpt Spell metamagic feat and "flat" AoE spells:

How would Sculpt Spell and Wall of Smoke interact if I wanted to use the "four ten-foot cubes" shape?  Wall of Smoke is normally a flat 2D wall you put on the grid that affects those that pass through.  Would the four ten-foot cubes become:

* four solid cubes that affect all within?
* four hollow cubes that affect all who walk through any of the walls?
* four separate ten-foot walls?
* something else?

On a similar note, how does this work with Grease (flat 2D area on ground)?  I played in a game with this and we treated it as four ten-foot patches, but is this RAW?

Indeed it is. Basically, I want to shore up my Will save with Moment of Perfect Mind. :D I don't see a background that gives Concentration, though. I suppose I could think of one. When I'm not too tired/lazy to do so.

How about:

Abandoned on the steps of a Monastery

You were abandoned as an infant on the steps of a monastery. Although ultimately the life of a monk didn't appeal to you, you did learn the value of quiet contemplation and discipline. You gain the Improved Unarmed Strike feat (PHB version), and Concentration is always a class skill for you. You also occasionally speak in proverbs or idioms that you learned as a child.
