Q234: What are some good 1-10HD outsiders to become/own if you have access to all spells & abilities? (No I'm not asking for Planar Shepard abuse...)
Nightmare (Astral Projection, Etherealness), Couatl (9th level sorcerer, tons of other awesome stuff), Succubus (Etherealness, Change Shape), Hound Archon (PfE aura, Greater Teleport at will). Also look through the Summoner's Guide to the Lower Planes. I found it very informative. He even has information in there on all kinds of things that would be difficult to summon (outside of Gate, Planar Binding, etc).

Too bad the Astral Deva is just outside that range. 14th level cleric casting would be nice. :P There are other kinds of devas in the splatbooks, and I'm sure there are probably some that fall under the 10 HD limit, though.

Q235 So just by polymorphing/wildshaping/something into a creature that can cast spells... you get to do it too o_O without resting or anything?

Q234
Is there an early entry trick into Eldritch Disciple?

A234 - Nope, skill requirements are something you more or less have to live with.

A 235: It's highly debatable, and very unlikely to be passed by a sane DM.

I figured as much, thanks.

Q236 - Can anyone suggest a good psionic class to play, with myself and cohort so far I have all castings covered except psionic. No dual progression PRCing is allowed.

Psion is the best, especially if you have everything else covered.

You can lower it by ONE with two feats from Cityscape if you REALLY need to get in early.

Q237 - If an Ur-priest stops being evil does he stop being able to use all his abilities or just unable to take more levels in it?

And as an aside, how much gold do you think a Genesis Demiplane of Platinum would produce at full size CL40 lol. Not a real question, just made me laugh thinking about it.

Q238: Do Temperary Hit-Points count toward actual Hit-Points when determining how the Power Word spells affect someone with them?
4e is a fine game.  It is not, however, the same type of game as 3.5.  For those of us who really liked the type of game 3.5 was, 4e just doesn't cut the mustard.  Yes, I tried playing it.  I was bored.  So was the rest of my gaming group.  I know there are people who love it... good for them.  But in the end, calling 4e a sequel of 3.5 is like calling checkers a sequel of chess.

Very unclear. It makes sense that they would at least lose the ability to rebuke undead.

That's debatable. Neutral Clerics can rebuke just fine. Though I can't really remember any PrCs or base classes that granted rebuking and allowed you to keep a good alignment.

There is that. However, being evil IS a prerequisite for the class. Therefore, if a character becomes non-evil, it doesn't make sense that they would be allowed to progress in the PRC, at least.

well, as with any PrC, when you lose a prereq for that PrC, you lose the abilities of that PrC -- I don't see why ur-priest would be any different. (see page 16 rule)   :shrug

Q238: Do Temperary Hit-Points count toward actual Hit-Points when determining how the Power Word spells affect someone with them?
hit points are hit points -- right?  I don't know why it would matter when/where they come from (yeah, temp hp is that good   ;)).

If you stop ignoring 289 pages telling what the intent is to stretch "more power" in your own god complexion of your interpretation trumps all to cover ability adjustments from aging then I will ignore a quarter page of rules that exist within a sidebar.
I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.

So if you go Mystic Theurge and for some reason you lose the prereqs to the class both your castings are gone?

I believe there is a list for that sort of thing. A paladin can lose his powers for becoming nowlawful or nongood, but can atone. A bard can no longer progress in the bard class if he becomes nonchaotic, but does not lose his abilities. There is no default for this, as far as I'm aware.

Ur-Priest has an adaptation section to allow non-evil (or even good) Ur-Priests.

Ever since the forum change it has been annoying >_> Also do you know the page for that? I can't find it in the Ur-Priest section of CDiv.

Q240 - So I heard this Planar Sheperd thing is good, what's the deal with that?

That doesn't really say much. The fact of the matter is there isn't a definitive ruling on the subject, or even a standard one. In fact, there isn't a really good reason for not allowing a non-evil Ur-Priest.

Ur-Priest adaptation should be just after the main section on them, past the fluff text.  It mentions the class is appropriate for followers of dead gods, in particular, and I dunno about you, but Waukeen is dead, and isn't evil ;)

A240 : Planar Shepherd is like Planar Bubble on crack.  Imagine having full access to Shapechanging into outsiders (pick a plane), a super-high powered Time Stop (read : at will and all day if you want), flagrant action abuse (same plane IIRC), and nigh invulnerability from some of the forms (like you weren't already).  And if nothing else, think of the Time Stop plane as God Mode.  Activate it and nothing can affect you (nor can you affect it, but who cares when you now have literally years to setup a nasty surprise for them when you come out of it).

The Bone Knight from Five Nations allows you to rebuke undead and still be good. The class has no alignment requirement and needs to "turn or rebuke undead" but the ability they gain switches them from Turning to rebuking if they are good.

There is a definitive ruling. Page 16 of Complete warrior, as already alluded to. If you lose prereqs for something, you lose all abilities except hit points, BAB, saves, skills, etc.
