A22: Because you touch yourself at night.
A22a: And that makes baby Jesus cry.
A22b

And kill kittens.
Q 25: Does he do that via turning attempts?  I always knew cats were evil, but I didn't know they were THAT evil.

Q26:In an effort to make my artificer a little more versatile, I'm looking at ways to expand the number of wands I can have access to in any given round.
Is it feasible to use a wand, drop it, retrieve another as a move (Haversack), or swift (wand bracelet), and have my expeditious messenger or furtive filcher who's nearby under orders to, "Pick up any wand I drop and put it in my backpack"?

A26: I would say that's feasible, but as a DM the wands and the homunculus would become prime targets for attack and/or readied actions.  What happens when you just dropped a wand and your party needs to GET THE FUCK OUT NOW (because everything just when to hell), and as you start sprinting away your homunculus is left behind to pick up the wand, and then suffers a horrific AoO as it tries to return to you?

A26a: In addition to ksbsnowowl's answer, I'd suggest that Dual Wand Wielder is sufficient, if using more wands per turn is the intended goal.

A26b: In addition to both answers, I would say this: add a link so you can put a chain around your wands. Have your homunculi ready within your storage space of choice with orders to pull the chain back in case you drop the wand and say 'Fnarlgan' or some such code word. This works best with portable holes, though to be frank I don't know if you can fit a homunculus inside a Heward's.

A 23: Typically no. You are supposed to select an aura from the given list just a couple pages over.

The alternate stance is that the page cite just links to the generic draconic aura description, not the list of auras, and there's nothing explicitly limiting it to the draconic auras reprinted a few pages later on.
That's why I said "typically". I still think it's a bit of a stretch.

______________
Draconic Aura: when you select this feat, choose a draconic aura (See p.86)

p.86: For most characters, a draconic aura is is learned by selecting the draconic aura feat (see p.16). This feat grants a character access to a single aura with a bonus of +1. Members of certain classes and some creatures, however, can gain the ability to project a draconic aura from different sources.
... this is where it lists the Dragon Lord, Dragon Shaman, Marshal, and True Dragons who have alternate aura sources.
... it then goes on to list aura effects on p.87
______________

A lot of people then assume that this means you can cherry pick the Dragon Shaman's vigor aura. The way I read it, you need to be of that specific class to use the alternate source.

Hold on, I believe there's a misunderstanding in here somewhere, or at least potential for one.
To clarify: The extra +1 will apply to everyone who would normally get the IC bonus. Let's say we have a Bard with Inspire Courage +2 and a Badge of Valor. If he decides to use it, all his allies will get a +3 bonus from Inspire Courage, rather than the usual +2. However, if that's what you were asking, only the guy wearing the badge can increase his IC value in this way.
It's all about vision and making reality conform to your vision. By dropping a fucking house on it.

(I apologize, since this probably have been answered before, but my searching skill sucks)

Knockback, feat (Races of Stone p. 142)
If you score a hit while you are using the Power Attack feat, you can make a free Bull Rush attempt against the foe you hit, applying the number by which you reduced your attack roll as a bonus on the opposed Strenght check (as well as on the damage you deal). If you hit with a two-handed weapon, you can apply double that number on the opposed Strength check. Unlinke standard bull rush attempts, knockback attempts don't provoke attacks of opportunity, and you don't move with the enemy you knock backward.
Q29a) If I keep Power Attack up the whole encounter; does it allow me to make Attack-of-Opportunity-Knockback-Bull-Rushes, disrupting enemies movements and/or actions? (like casting a touch spell or charging)

Q29b) Can you Knockback an enemy more tan 5'?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my crappy English :p

First of all, as far as the internet is concerned, your English is really good. Second of all, welcome. Third of all:

A29A) The description of bullrush does state that the enemy you push does not provoke attacks of opportunity from you (though he does from everyone else). While a DM might waive that part of the description, Knockback does not (at least not explicitly) so by default, the answer is no. Scratch that, it only states the enemy doesn't provoke AoOs from you when you move along with it. So use a reach weapon and by all means, kick ass!

A29B) For all intents and purposes, knockback counts as a bull rush attempt, so the answer would be yes.

Thanks Kuroimaken, although my question was simpler than that :P
I wanted to know if I could use knockback on Attacks of Opportunity.

Let's say, for example, I'm an ogre with a spiked chain. The dwarven warrior charges right at me, but due to my Large size he provokes AoO. I hit him with PA and ... Knock him back? A29C) Does he loose his full-round action?

I want to throw a raging Spiked Chain Warhulk Ogre at my party (they are three melees...), and test the Knockback feat with the huge STR bonus.

Q30: Anyone good at recovering lost threads want to try and find this one?

Optimized Initiative Compilation: Tools, Builds, and Theory
by LordofProcrastination

It is gone from 339, and I'm trying to crank out the highest initiative possible. I'd prefer to use spells and magic items instead of feats, as those are a lot more "expensive" (unless they can be gotten via Heroics).

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.

By all means, there is no reason why this shouldn't work. Although there is no clear solution on whether he would lose his action or not. I would say yes, since being knocked back by a freaking ogre pretty much kills your momentum...

Q 27: Protection from evil prevents bodily contact by summoned creatures, but summoned creatures with SR can overcome this.  Does the summoned creature just check the first time it tries to attack the protected character, and if it fails it cannot attack him period?  Or can he continue to try attacking, and check for SR each attempt?

A27:
Quote from: Rules Compendium, Spell Resistance, Effects heading
Check spell resistance only once for any particular casting of a spell or use of a spell-like ability. If a creature’s spell resistance fails the first time, it fails each time the creature encounters that same casting of the spell.

So yes if the caster of the Pro Evil spell overcomes the creatures SR on the first attempt that creature can't affect said character.  However if the protection from evil was removed and recast the creature would get new check.

EDIT:
Q26b: So do I have to have Double Wand Wielder (CM) to use a wand in each hand?  Because I was under the impression I could hold two wands and pick which one I wanted to use in that round.  Or use the first wand and then Metamagic Spell Trigger: Quicken the second.
And thanks for that Rod of Many Wands.  That's freakin' great  :D
Three wands of enervation... does that rod count as a spell trigger item now for the purposes of the artificer class features?  Because being able to split ray that just seems a little too broken.
