Q 124 Can I make an item that gives me +10 to spellcraft?(or is there already one?) And if I can make one where are the rules located regarding that? (I have a DM who needs to see everything and I thought I remembered it being in the MIC but I didn't find it)

A 124 In DMG, you could use a ring of jumping or a ring of swim as an example.
Also, table 7-33 in the Dungeon Master's Guide shows typical base prices for custom magic items.
And "skill bonus" is listed.

Q126

Can crossbows have splitting?
What about dancing? I see that in the loot roll tables it's in the melee one, but it doesn't say anywhere...

MiC and SRD both have 'Dancing' listed as a melee weapon property.

I don't have access to Champions of Ruin, but I think 'Splitting' only works on arrows.
It doesn't seem too far-fetched to let it apply to bolts, though.

technically, the Text-triumphs-table method would say dancing could be applied to a crossbow since the description doesn't say it can't, but most DMs I know go by the table, instead.

I was under the impression that text only trumped table when it was contradictory, not when it was simply silent on a matter. And as for dancing...

Other "melee only" or "ranged only" abilities specifically call it out in the description, hence the TvT application potential.

Requiring adjacent does make it less attractive...

Other then that, can you guys think of any way to wield more then 2 crossbows? Other then more arms.

Q 127: The martial study feat says that you gain access to a new school of maneuvers, specifically to a new maneuver from that school. If you took Martial study as a level 1 martial adept, would you be able to take maneuvers from that school as you advance in your martial adept level? For example, if you took Martial Study (Crusader's Strike) as a first level Warblade, would you be able to choose from the Devoted Spirit maneuvers as a Warblade?

You get the school's skill and ONE maneuver from the school. That's it.

I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!
