Q 87:If you gave a Troll a level of Warblade, and he took the Wolf Fang Strike (strike), could he treat his two claws as the two weapons needed for the strike?  If so, could he then rend as a part of the standard action if both claws hit?
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

Oh great. I'm really looking forward to seeing that in action.  :P

Q88: Can a non-humanoid use belt of growth from Magic Item Compendium (Specifically an Outsider - Native, Earth).  If not, what's a good way for a Mineral Warrior Tiefling Crusader with a spiked chain to increase in size?

Dip into psiwarrior or ardent, and take Practiced Manifester.

There was also a Ring of Growth (I think that's the name) in Savage Species that worked for non-humanoids. It was like permanent Enlarge Person.

Wisdom 8 makes dipping those classes difficult.
Thank you for the ring idea, it's only 9 min, but eh? Better than nothing.

Q89: Was reading the Suel Arcanamach handbook and saw the link to Surreal's War Weaver that does not exist anymore.  Is that build posted anywhere else, or could someone give me a brief summary of what else was in the build (other than the obvious)?

Q90: Is there another way to progress Binder/arcane caster levels simultaneously other than Legacy Champion? I know bloodlines would advance my EBL, but wouldn't give me new spells known/per day.

A90: Uncanny Trickster (CS p67) advances "Class Features" for 2 out of 3 levels. You can use it to advance Anima Mage, but it requires 4 skill tricks and 8 ranks in each of four skills.

Nice. I'm probably going Binder/Wizard so skill points shouldn't be a problem anyway.

Q91 Is there Classes/Feats/Prestige Classes/Races that have some affinity for creating animated plants under the control of the caster, or controlling existing plant creatures, or etc. Essentially i'm wanting to make a build that's like a Necromancer but with plants.

A91: There's a feat in Lost Empires of Faerun that lets you apply the Greenbound template to animals you summon, turning them into massively tough plants. I want to say it's called Greenbound Summoning.

Q92
Am I missing something, or does traditional white dragonspawn kobold cheese not work? White Dragonspawn makes you a monstrous humanoid and is an acquired template (meaning it has to come post-creation), so you must necessarily lose your Dragon type, as far as I can tell. Which may be worth it, but disqualifies you from Epic feats, the Dragonblood Grandfather Clause, and Sovereign Archetypes. My question really is, why do people seem to think this works? What am I missing, if anything?
So you end up stuck in an endless loop, unable to act, forever.

In retrospect, much like Keanu Reeves.

It changes you to a monstrous humanoid.  Then you get your first level, take dragonwrought, and change from monstrous humanoid to dragon.

Right, then I'm startin another thread cause I disagree with that explanation and don't wanna clog this thread up excessively. To the Break it boards!

Q89: Was reading the Suel Arcanamach handbook and saw the link to Surreal's War Weaver that does not exist anymore.  Is that build posted anywhere else, or could someone give me a brief summary of what else was in the build (other than the obvious)?

It's not the full thing, but this is what I dug up from my notes. Also note that this was from before I had access to ToB.
[spoiler]XYZ 6/Suel Arcanamach 4/War Weaver 5/Abjurant Champion 5

BAB 16, saves ...

- 5th level spells, CL 16 (20 with PM)
- abjurations are boosted (double duration, +6 to dispel, +5 to AC) which are pumped through to all your allies
- all other Suel spells are also extended, and arguably to all your allies as well
- ignore 10% ASF (w/mithril thistledown twilight for another -25%, you can wear full plate)
- req feats: enlarge spell, combat casting, iron will

Choices for XYZ

MUST HAVE: either hexblade or duskblade - in order to meet the Spellcraft skill requirements (5 ranks)

Hexblade - get arcane resistance, mettle, familiar/dark companion, bonus feat at level 5
vs
Duskblade - more spells (use versatile spellcaster to fuel Suel casting), bonus combat casting, channel spell

WOULD BE NICE: Swashbuckler or Warblade, the only full BAB base classes with Tumble and jump as class skills, but you only need 4 ranks each so you can potentially buy them all cross-class

RANDOMNESS:
Hexblade 3/Swashbuckler or Ranger 3 - get Cha to saves, mettle, and good skill points
Ranger 4/Hexblade or Duskblade 2 - get the tasty list of ranger spells (but lousy CL, which doesn't matter sometimes)
Duskblade 3/Swashbuckler 3 - Int synergy (but MAD), can juggle the PrCs to get 3rd level Duskblade (CL 9) and 5th level Suel
Duskblade 2/Warblade 4 - can get 3rd level maneuvers/stances, combat casting
Duskblade 5/Spellsword 1 or Duskblade 4/Spellsword 2 if Illumian - get total ASF reduction 20% (w/mithril twilight thistledown for 45%)
Hexblade 4/Crusader 2 - Cha to saves (twice to Will), mettle, dark companion, 2nd level stances
Paladin 4/Duskblade 2 - Cha to saves, turning (divine feats), combat casting, Complete Champion paladin variant trade spells for feat

a familiar can help deliver touch spells in the weave, etc.

feats: arcane disciple, versatile spellcaster (use duskblade spells to fuel Suel), practiced spellcaster, divine feats

items: rings of wizardry - especially on a Duskblade w/versatile spellcaster

races:
human - always a good choice, any favoured class
Silverbrow human - need dragonblood subtype if want to use Versatile Spellcaster on Duskblade
dragonborn human - flight or breath weapon
dragonborn raptoran - flight and breath weapon
Illumian - can dump your casting stat for Str or Dex, or get 2/day free metamagic (need Turning), thematically fits very well
Hellbred (Spirit) - boost to cha, Paladin favoured class, darkvision and telepathy

can always drop one level of Suel for Spellsword to get +5 more ASF reduction

Dragonhusk class variant (Dragon Magic)
- will get you approx. AC +7 and maybe some energy resistance
- a useful freebie (since you probably won't be wearing armor anyways) in case you get caught without prep time, very good at low levels
- no ASF to interfere with casting

---------------------

XYZ 6/Suel Arcanamach 4/Swiftwing 10
Warforged XYZ 6/Suel Arcanamach 4/War Weaver 5/Spellcarved Soldier 5 (not as good as Abjurant Champion)
----------------------

Q93
An item in Faith of Ebberon has the following effect:
"Three times per day, it allows you to substitute a domain spell of equal or lower level for the spell you are actually casting. [example omitted so I don't copy to much directly]. These spells functions in all ways as if you had cast them (Caster Level, save DC and the like).

Does the "in all ways as if you had cast them" include experience and material component costs?
By clicking this link, you open a pop-up, but I get a eurocent for my current wish, the 5th book of the Wheel of Time series. Please note that this only works if you leave the pop-up opened till it has finished loading. Thank you!

Q94: I've seen it mentioned that Decisive Strike (Monk ACF: PHB II) is useful for AOO builds, but it is a full round action to use and doesn't mention AOO's in its description.  Is there another source (sage, errata, custserv) that independently confirms that it can be used for AOO's, or is it based off the idea that Decisive Strike is a single attack?
