Bang reminds me of RoSHIaKI from Battle Moon Wars.

For those not familiar with Tsukihime, Roa is a reincarnating vampire who can destroy lifeforce and refuses to button his shirt, while SHIKI is an insane guy who has the powers of enduring injuries about as well as the Black Knight and manipulating his own blood. Plus they're actually the same guy - in some routes Roa's spirit takes over SHIKI's body and in others it doesn't.

This doesn't stop both from showing up in Battle Moon Wars, and then fusing into... a Gundam-themed ninja? What.
