Odd, I thought Summon Elemental required you to maintain LoE in addition to the 30ft distance cap. Makes it a bit more useful.
I'm not sure, if this is a reply to me then I might be wrong about the LoE issue. I was just looking for a great utility use.

It was. I was going to say "Summon Elemental requires you to maintain LoE to work", but it actually doesn't (just like normal summoning spells). The only difference between SE and SM X spells is the Elemental has to stay within 30ft of the summoner at all times, whereas a summoned Centipede can go anywhere it damn well pleases after being summoned.

Take a look at half-orc druid sub levels, they are pretty awesome. You can get augment summoning by trading a wild shape use. Moreover desert orc is +2 con -2 int.
Another reserve feat to consider is minor shapeshift. I am fond of companion spellbond, too.

Riding dogs are useful. I have one in a mid-level campaign where we are constantly on the run and i equipped it with improved scent/uncanny scent feats from Savage Species. It's also a good tracker. And can assist in battle if buffed (like, say, bite of the werebear :p). There are better companions, but at least you don't feel dirty about it :p

Btw, where's enhanced elemental from ?

Half Orc is out of the question.
Enhanced Elemental is from Magic of Eberron. It gives a +2 enhancement bonus on attack and damage rolls.

Note that it says "end of your turn" you could use an elemental as some kind of charge attack rocket if you want. Handy for when you just got to slam the bugger over the cliff. Or set something on fire, though I suppose theres other ways to do that, Summon Elemental never runs dry.

"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~"
