I believe my favorite is that nowhere does it say you need to be touching the ground to initiate a jump.

This one actually came from an argument with a friend who wanted to use Battle Jump + Soaring Raptor Strike. My claim as to why he couldn't: Battle Jump specifies that you must fall from a certain height to activate it. Soaring Raptor Strike doesn't mention you actually leap the distance that your Jump check equals, to which he replied by saying he'd activate Sudden Leap and then Soaring Raptor Strike while in midair - thus double jumping.

The ironic part is, RAW he could totally do that...

I'm not sure if this counts, but I'll throw it in because there's a discrepancy:

The table of the Ultimate Magus PrC states that at levels 1, 4, and 7, you advance the casting class with the lowest class level, but the text states that you advance the class with the lowest caster level (which opens up Practiced Spellcaster, Illumians, and the like).

Now, I don't consider it abusive per se, but the discrepancy leaves some people wondering what WotC's actual intent was for the class.  It's just technically a typo that's caused confusion for some.  I've always used the way it's presented and go off of the text.

I would say that wotc just used spellcaster lv and caster lv interchangeably (but they actually just mean spellcaster lv). It probably did not occur to them that we would interpret it so literally.

Has anyone ever thought of the shaedling (MM5)'s shadow gossamer ability? It lets you replicate an item for free. ELH has rules for augmenting alchemical items. So you can have it create alchemist's fire that deal 1milliond6 damage (since no price limit is wasted).

Oh dear god, the shaedling.

As it's written, you can duplicate any item under 15 pounds. So Staffs of Wish, Major Artifacts, whatever--as long as it's under 15 pounds, you're fine.

Hmm... how much stuff can you get if you go to a plane with the 'no gravity' trait?

And that's what silly Americans/British get for using a unit of force instead of a unit of mass for common measurements.

As DM you have final say on all rulings or outcomes in any given situation.
It's so open end and can lend to many "interpretation" issues. It's not clearly defined in the SRD OR Rules Comp, not to mention the RAI is completely vague, and only one person at the table is able to use this. Sounds exploitable to me.

I mean come on... what were the designers thinking when they came up with this one.
Ah! Maddness. Thank you.

Slugs, IIRC. Nobody ever uses them, don't worry.
So you end up stuck in an endless loop, unable to act, forever.

In retrospect, much like Keanu Reeves.
