« on: April 10, 2009, 05:24:31 PM »
I recently heard bout Scion and it peaked my interest (I'm a WW fan [but hate Exalted]). I don't want to waste money, so, what ae your experiences with it?

To me, Scion is somewhat flavorless.

It's like... the shell of a game. It looks like a game, but it is weirdly colourless.

I have no logic to support this, it is just how it feels to me.

I haven't had a chance to read the game yet but I am also interested. It's mostly a money issue, I don't have any. :)

My experience playing it was it's a great concept for a game, with really excellent flavor text and a clunky, unusable ruleset.  It's basically the Exalted 2nd edition rules with a few modifications and it really didn't hold up under play for my group.
