I was going to make that Tome Dragon thingy for the game I was going to have, but I felt so cheesy (not that that is a problem), but the thing is that I saw how awesome the Swiftblade sounded.

So I thought I should make one instead.

Any ideas of how to make it?

Maybe Human Sorcerer (reflavored to be based on Int) 6/Swiftblade 9/Abjurant Champion 5//Paramind 4/Fighter 2/Incanatatrix 4/? 10

Or maybe I'll still be a Tome Dragon, I am not sure.

Any ideas?

You'd probably like Paladin 2 instead of Fighter 2.

Can you have PrC's on both sides?

If not, use human paragon to fill in some of those lost SCL's.

Well, it was mostly to get some buffs to the underpowered PC in the group, so yes, as long as it is reasonable...

Off the top of my head you can try something like

Loredrake Dragonwraught Kobold

Sorcerer 4/Swiftblade 9/Sorcerer 7 // Factotum 8/Cloistered Cleric 1/Crusader 1/Sorcerer 3/Ruby Knight Vindicator 7

Casts as a level 22 Sorcerer (23 after greater rite of passage) and a level 6 Cleric. Breaks the action economy to all hell.

Hard to roleplay when being dominated by a wurm :-\ But yes, if you are greedy enough and 3 free levels are not enough, you can go that route.

It gives +2 Sorcerer caster level for a dragon in exchange that their HDs drop to d10s (+ they get Spellcraft as a class skill...)

I'd do human wizard 5/fighter 1/spellsword 1/abjurant champion 5/eldritch knight 8\\duskblade 3/scout 3/ranger 14.

If you'd do a divine-y gish: warlock 5/(fighter/crusader/warblade) 1/ur-priest 2/eldritch disciple 9/hellfire warlock 3\\swordsage 20. You'd get 14d6 with your eldritch blast, 17th level casting with warlock, 10th level ur-priest (at 18th level) and the benefits of swordsage. Alternatively, Archivist 4/Ordained Champion 3/Knight of the Raven 3/Fist of Raziel 10\\Crusader or Warblade 20.

Or do Swordsage 20 with Illusionist 4/Fighter 2/Spellsword 1/Abjurant Champion 5/Shadowcraft Mage 4/Eldritch Knight 4. Obviously you're a whisper gnome (or even a regular gnome).

Is Abjurant Champion viable for gestalt builds? I know you're not supposed to use dual-class advancing PrCs (such as Eldritch Knight, Mystic Theruge, and Aracane Trickster), but I don't know how Abjurant Champion falls into this. It does give full casting and BAB advancement (as well as better HD than the EK). I guess if the DM's cool with it, why not?

In the letter of the law, I'd say EK, AC, spellsword, et cetera shouldn't be allowed. In the spirit and in actual gameplay, they should be. The things like anima mage, mystic theurge, eldritch disciple, et cetera that advance two forms of spellcasting shouldn't be allowed.

Depends on what you think and what your DM will allow.

What if the dual-advancing stuff is all on one side? For example (really basic): Cleric 3 / Wizard 3 / Mystic Theurge 10 / Wizard +4 // Binder 20? I know it says no theurgic classes in the gestalt rules, but I believe the intention is to keep "Wizard 3 / Mystic Theurge 10 / Wizard +7 // Cleric 3 / anything 17" from happening (ie, cross-side advancement).

I always figured the intent was to keep the PC from advancing three or four things at a time, all the while entering into the PrCs early.

To me, even something like Binder 1/Anima Mage 10/Mystic Theurge 9//Wizard 1/Cleric 10/Binder 9 okay

For a total EBL of 20, arcane CL of 20, and divine CL of 19, but that is another case, and none of the player's wanted that anyways...
