Doesn't a Weapon of Legacy solve a crapton here? I mean, it grants you Cunning (to use your own immediate action turn through e.g. Eternal Blade), Su Mind Blank, Moment of Prescience (so you actually get to roll Initiative without autolosing - Nerveskitter is trivial as using Immediate Action on that cuts the Wizard off his Celerity), crap like Creature Compass to find the fucker hiding in an incorporeal form inside a Wall, Teleports, Dispels, Contingency (although you need a spell to Contingent; mayhap another Spell-Like from the Weapon of Legacy) and all that, costing you maybe some HP and skills or some such.
I mean sure, trying to avoid item dependence is all fine and dandy, but whatever build attempted is going to need some items to check the Wizard's simple outs anyways and Weapon of Legacy is one of the more "character-bound" items. And using that to check a large list of crap that normally requires items or is plain impossible to deal with allows you to focus the character on actually being able to deal with the Wizard's likely defensive setup.
I still believe that some sort of a ranged character is by far the best idea simply because you can continue to pepper the fucker after his Teleport Somewhere Contingency goes off (provided that the Somewhere isn't on the other side of the world or something; there's at least a chance of being able to pepper him to death after that, and without needing to devote a ton of resources on being able to get next to the fucker).
