A229: Ask yer DM, but RAW, they'd lose the benefits until they meet the prerequisites again; much like using the chameleon's flotaing feat to qualify for a PrC.
More specifically, do you regain what you traded away temporarily?

I can see three ways this might work:
1. You lose the benefits of the level, but also regain whatever you had to trade away, treating the level as a normal one of that class.
2. You lose the benefits, and do not regain whatever you traded away, as though you had taken a gimped level of the class.
3. You lose all the benefits of the level, as though you had never taken it.

Number 3 seems the most consistent, but it's a weird corner case, so I thought I'd ask for clarification.

Complete Warrior I believe states that if you fail to meet the prerequisites for a class, you retain BAB, saves, and skills, but lose all other class features.

Q 230 If prohibiting a school as a wizard simply means removing those spells from your class list, then does learning a spell from that school in a way that specifically allows you to pick spells not on your list (recaster, wyrm wizard, etc.) allow you to cast that spell?

There's no evidence to support that possibility so I'd say no.

Q231: If I cast Earth Hammer (Races of Stone) on my greatsword to make it a bludgeoning weapon, then Greater Mighty Wallop (Races of the Dragon) to increase the damage...What happens when my Earth Hammer runs out? It seems like GMW would end as well, but does it continually check for the damage type? I'm not sure.

A231: Spells only check whether the target is legal when cast. So no, it wouldn't end. Of course, I'd expect a lot of DMs to house rule otherwise, but that's officially the way things work.

Q232

On a Jade Phoenix Mage (Tome of Battle), the Arcane Wrath ability says that you can lose a spell to gain an attack and damage bonus on a single attack or martial strike. If I then take a strike that can hit multiple targets (say, Desert Tempest), can I apply the extra damage to every target of the strike?

Q233
If the strike offers secondary damage as well (Death Mark, for example) could I then apply it also to the secondary damage?

Q235
Does a Dragonborn Blue with no levels in a psionic class keep his power point reserve?  What about his psionic subtype?  What about if he's polymorphed into a non-psionic creature?

Q236
I heard a greater glyph seal (Magic Item Compendium 160) can use level 9 spells on the cheap, but a GGS as I see only works with up to L5 spells and costs 4K a pop.
Hood - My first answer to all your build questions; past, present, and future.

Speaking of which:
Don't even need TO for this.  Any decent Hood build, especially one with Celerity, one-rounds [Azathoth, the most powerful greater deity from d20 Cthulu].
Does it bug anyone else that we've reached the point where characters who can obliterate a greater deity in one round are considered "decent?"

It allows you to apply the bonus once to one instance of the martial strike/attack. So, regardless of how many targets you hit, you apply the bonus once, to all target(s).

Q237 - Looking to help someone with a Duskblade, is there any feat which gives you a spell of your choice (lv1 is fine) to your spell list with no restrictions to how many times per day you can use it? I was looking at Arcane Disciple... which is nice but only one cast of each spell per day isn't in this instance.

A237 - Not that I know off the top of my head.  The [something] bloodline feats from dragon compendium might be useful, though.

Depending on how you interpret it, Extra Spell might work. The psionic version (Expanded Knowledge) explicitly says you can add powers from other lists. The spell version doesn't, but it also doesn't exclude it.

Symbol of Sleep

Let me rephrase it:

Q238b  Is there any other spells that make lots of creatures sleep besides sleep and deep slumber with max casting time of 1 full-round action?

Thanks though, Phaedrus.... will keep that spell in mind...

Put it on a shield and/or make it permanent. Cover it up if you don't want it to put people to sleep. It is permanent until discharged, so the casting time is irrelevant. You can cast it 6 months before you use it. It can put to sleep an unlimited number of creatures with 10 HD or less, if they come within 60 feet of it and look at it.

I am the GM of a new group with a Master Transmogrifist in it.

He wants to use the Willow the Wisp, from MM1 page 255, and its Immunity to Magic ability.

Now my question is this:
When using the willow the wisp form, wont the "Immunity To Magic" abillity cause him to loose all selfbuffs that has spell resistance?

My (simple yet awesome) argument is, that if you are grappling, and you get freedom of movement cast on you, you are automatically out of the grapple.... which is kinda  the same :)
