Please add this ridiculously overpowered item. Up to triple your manifester level for one power, three times per day, and free augments to fill it with.
My work
The tier system in a nutshell:
Tier 6: A cartographer.
Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Tier 1: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything and the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
After having played with them for the last 6 months, going to give some props to Orb of Mental Renewal and Rod of Bodily Restoration from the MiC. If you are playing in a party that does not have a divine caster they are a standard purchase imo.

Well, it is not one item. It's 3K per 2pp. That gets costly right quick, even if it's worth it.

It goes up to 60K at lv20 - it's not that expensive.

Not at 20th, no. But paying 30K at 10th level is way beyond your budget, and at lower levels you can't even more than one or two with your gold if you plan on getting other stuff.

It's 3k gold for 2 PP (3 times per day) for augments that can bypass the Max PP spent= manifester rule.
6k gp for +4d10 mindthrust damage & +2 save 3 time per day. Even having two is very good.
You can have 3 at fifth level. That's 11d10 damage with the save at 16+INT 3/times per day, for 5 PP at fifth level.

I just saw the Power Crystals in Magic of Eberron for the first time. These incredible items are warforged components that can allow a psionic warforged to manifest a specific psionic power once per day, using their own power points. So they're like Rune Staffs, but only hold a single power each. They're also incredibly cheap (400 gp for a 1st level one). 'Forged were already one of my favorite races for psions, and they just got better. Probably the best part: it doesn't say it has to be on your list.

Pricing:
1st (400), 2nd (1600), 3rd (3600), 4th (6400), 5th (10000), 6th (14,400), 7th (19,200), 8th (25,600), 9th (32,400)
A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

I don't think these are in the list yet, and they're awesome:

Cloaker Flute (Savage Species 56):  Unlimited uses per day but no one creature can be effected in the same day again if they make a save.  Save DC for all effects is your perform (flute) ranks +10... which is the nice part.  At low levels that won't be much, but a 20th level Bard would have a save DC of 33, which isn't terrible... and more to the point it will trigger when using Bardic Music normally using the flute.

Effects include forcing all nearby creatures to flee in terror for two rounds on a failed will save, making all nearby enemies unable to take any actions including defending themselves (coup de grace!) for 1d4+1 rounds on a failed fort save, effectively hitting everyone in the area with a hold person spell for 5 rounds (and this one keeps taking effect even if they pass the save, so you can use this effect continually when using Bardic Music... any time someone fails, they're pretty screwed) on a failed fort save, and everyone in the area takes a -2 penalty on attack and damage rolls with no save and if they hear it for 6 rounds they must will save or be totally unable to attack or defend themselves until the sound stops (plus they must make a new save every round or the effect sets in fully).

Not bad for 27k.

PhaeXY "power crystals"
huh ... so it's cheaper and earlier than Psychic Chirurgery, but it's an item. Niice.
And it's better than Expanded Knowledge.

One limiter on this is that the powers cannot be augmented.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

Hmm... I know it said you can't apply metapsionic feats, but I missed that apparently. Ah well, so it's not quite as good as I initially thought, but would still be incredible for powers that you don't need to augment, anway (like Greater Metamorphosis for your Ardent).

Do you have to be able to manifest powers of that level, or could you use Overchannel or other ML boosters to manifest high-level powers early?

consider the warning enchantment (MIC p.46) +1 weapon enchantment, gives a +5 insight bonus on initiative checks when held. can you say 'shuriken'?

well, but when you start stacking enchantments, prices increase rapidly. thats why i usually keep magic on my weapons/armor at a minimum, and use buff spells instead.

One eager shuriken, and one warning. Doesn't one of those not specify that it has to be held/wielded?

If you're a Psion, without a doubt this doesn't let you manifest higher level powers. If you're an Ardent, it is debatable. RAW it probably should, but I'd imagine most DMs would balk at that.

+1 Warning Fukimi-Bari (A&EG).

Eager, however, specifies that it needs to be wielded.
