First off, yes, a changeling can qualify for Deepstone Sentinel by taking the Racial Emulation feat and turning into a dwarf.

Yes, I got the idea while thinking about my PbP character, but I'm not going that direction with him. I realised that the Deepstone Sentinel's signature ability (which creates difficult terrain around him) combined well with Morphic Reach and Combat Reflexes.

Here's what I'm thinking (quick build):

Changeling
1 Barbarian 1 (pounce, implacable variants)
2 Warblade 1
3 Warblade 2
4 Warblade 3
5 Warshaper 1
6 Warshaper 2
7 Warshaper 3 Morphic Reach
8 Totemist 1
9 Totemist 2 Feat:Extended ReachSS
10 Warblade 4
11 Deepstone sentinel 1
12 Deepstone sentinel 2 Feat:Open Chakra (shoulders)
13 Deepstone sentinel 3
14 Deepstone sentinel 4
15 Deepstone sentinel 5
16 Warblade 5
17 Warblade 6
18 Warblade 7
19 Warblade 8
20 Warblade 9

Shape displacer mantle bound to the shoulders and totem chakras (tentacle attacks and 20% concealment). Have a permanent extend tentacles spell cast on the displacer tentacles (as well as your morphic weapon tentacles) for 20ft reach.

Other possibilities:
Martial Study (any Devoted Spirit) + Martial Stance (Thicket of Blades)
Dwarven Defender levels

Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.

Looks ok.
You seem to have some extra room for feats, so maybe fit in a level of Fist of the Forest for some more Con synergy?

Why not move deepstone up and take more warblade after? You'd get more higher level maneuvers known, no?
The cake is a lie.

+1 would also make the build mature faster.

I was doing it quick - I would have put that in if I had more time.

Should I add dwarven defender levels?

Should I add dwarven defender levels?
Standard question: Do you have a method of making the enemy come to you? If not, No.

Not worth the feats imo.

Throw in two levels of deepwarden, now that you are emulating a dwarf.

Seeing as this thread is two years old, I think any further advice would be moot.
