It's your own fault for making them so awesome.

And I definitely never would have thought about that one.  :lmao :lmao
I just described you as "possibly the coolest Brazilian ever" to my flat mate when telling him the story

The irony of it is, there aren't any Brazillians I can think of offhand to fill the spot instead.
Because you punched them all in the face?
It's all about vision and making reality conform to your vision. By dropping a fucking house on it.

Me neither, I have a hard time thinking of any Brazilian whatsoever, with the exception of a Ph. D. student at my school who was hilarious to watch when he tried skiing, my skills at that particular area are far from impressive (my snowboarding skills are mentionable though), but he was just horrible at it
Who cares for realism when you can be awesome?

That's just nature at work for ya. Nowhere in Brazil does it snow on winter. My whole family was unmentionably bad at it when we tried.

Still, he had trained for a week and it had been years since I stood on a pair of those, also I have no memory of ever trying cross-country skiing before that time even though my parents insist that I did it when I was a lot younger. Though I have to admit I was surprised at how well I handled myself, considering my outdated skills

Also: Snowboarding >> Skiing

Bah, you snowboarders and your uncultured, devilish contraptions! :P
Anyway, a lot of skiing is instinctual processes, so once you've learned it, you won't forget it for a long time. I've noticed that whenever I go to ski somewhere after a year or two of not doing so, I suck horribly on the first day, then I'm basically back to my old level of skill.

I tend to hit things on the way down, so I'll stick to bungee jumping.

Depending on where you do it, you're even MORE likely to hit things on the way down when you bungee jump.

I'm considering taking up parachuting, myself.

Well, I DID jump off the 3rd story of a building once to escape hazing, but it was only to hit the ground level of the 2nd story floor and then off to the ground floor, so I'd rather not take any chances.

It would be an honour.

The idea happened to me at my last gaming session when a friend of mine argued he didn't like Tome of Battle because it was unrealistic, my counter argument, as usually, involved me telling him how unrealistic it is that I could play a wizard (Insert rant about overpoweredness), While he argued that this being fine, but a guy with a sword was not allowed to scream IRON HEART SURGE! or RAGE OF THE MONGOOSE, MEANS I GET TO PUNCH YOU IN THE ... A LOT MORE!

Meh, I'm sorry, the thing is... people are going to play super heroes you know it a piss poor argument really, but mostly the sad part is it just means the guy with the swords life become infinitely harder. Tell him its a secret weeabo fighting magic. Though it IS still magic... if it helps him feel better.
