Now: the trick is getting Persistent down to a +5 adjustment; +6 is beyond the capability of the UM to bypass.

Hmm.  I'm not sure it's going to be worth the investment of feats, in the long run.

I was just going to comment on this... I agree.

Is there any particular reason you need Wizard 6, 7, and 8 and not random full casting filler with actual class features?

Also, GMI = 88.888% miss chance. You + 8 images. Add Blink and Displacement and 35/36 attacks automatically miss.

Sunic may be more abrasive than sandpaper coated in chainsaws (not that its a bad thing, he really does know what he's talking about), but just posting in this thread without warning and telling him he's an asshole which, if you knew his past experiences on WotC and Paizo is flat-out uncalled for. Never mind the insults (which are clearly 4Chan-level childish). You say people like Sunic are the bane of the internet? Try looking at your own post and telling me you are better than him.

Here's a fun fact: You aren't. By a few leagues.

Parsimony.  To me, a good build is like a good recipe--it leaves room for the individual chef to season to taste.  I'd also be leery of adding random classes that didn't have good Fortitude saves--the build is pretty anemic as-is, one of the primary weaknesses.

Doesn't Mindbender have a good Fort. save? That would be a decent dip, and would set you up for Mindsight if you have a free feat.

Nice build, by the way. :D

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

It does. And I was just thinking of that when the words "good Fort Save" were mentioned.
The only downside is it requires you not to ban enchantment...but I forget the prereqs to Prestige Bard so you might have to keep enchantment anyway, in which case it fits perfectly.

lessee...7 wizard levels(instead of 8)+1 sublime chord+4 practiced spellcaster=CL "12"(max 11 for HD) for sublime chord spells pre-ultimate magus.
Pre-ultimate magus you'll have CL 10 for Wizard spells. So the first three single level progressions you can pick Wizard casting. *check book* And there are only 3 single level progressions. You're all clear to take a Mindbender dip. :D

....1 ahead of wizard when entering ultimate magus...which means the third level of single progression would be sublime chord progression :/
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.
