The chef pulls out his secret weapons: Complete Divine, the Player's Handbook, and... what the hell is he doing?

I'd prefer to avoid them.  There's a LOT of room to work in the 3.5 rulebooks proper.

Anything forbidden from the WotC books as far as Feats, Spells, Equipment, etc.?
Winning an argument on the internet is like winning in the Special Olympics.  You won, but you're still retarded.

Leadership!

Also, I think that Unearthed Arcana is preferred against.

But it's so yummy...  :weep

And I'm assuming then that Dragon is also out? Since other than Dragon Compendium, they're not rulebooks? Would Dragon Comp be in then, though?

Want to see what the limits are before I go off in search of vague things.  :blush

I'd prefer to avoid them is terribly vague. Is that a yes, you can use them, but in a kind of frowny face way that might result in getting fewer points (similar to UA)? Or a no, because you hate Kobolds? :P

How do you want to handle the deity requirement?  Are we limited to only worshipping Hextor of Heironeous, since that is what is printed?

Judging/competing/sideline commenting based on ingrediant. I'll be doing SOMETHING...just not sure what.

Competing. I've got a really nice idea for this one.
Wasn't sure on the rules...next time I'll blindly say "competing" and drop out if I don't like the ingrediant. ;)
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

At best it would be any deity with the War Domain in a 3.5 book. At worst, it would be the Super H Bros and the deities mentioned in the Adaptation section.

Heh, I just made an ordained champion build yesterday!  Too bad it wasn't not particularly original though =/

Chef Callix appears to be planning another exotic dish; this time he's trying Forgotten Realms for some added spice. Complete Champion, Complete Divine... And is that Complete Arcane? What's going on here?

Well, I've found a build that's weird enough for me to want to do it, but it only takes 3 levels of Ordained Champion and shoots itself in the foot doing so...

This is really hard to do with any sort of originality.

Yea, that's what I was thinking too.

Still looking for my unique angle though.

Akal-Saris is looking at the FRCS and DoTU with a strange, twisted expression...

By the way, I think we are still using 25 PB.

My vote as far as flavor goes is for any 3.5 book's deity with the war domain, as per the adaptation section.  I hate the standard 3.5 D&D gods.

Holy crap 25 PB that'll be tough feh.  I say we keep it to the Super H Brothers because reduction of scope makes it more difficult to be creative and unique.  That challenge is one of the big three when it comes to the Iron Chef Challenge.

I agree with Akalsaris' judgement. PHB deities alone reduces the number of options and, by extension, originality. Then again, it does mention the possibility of using, for example, the Mockery from Eberron...
