[self] Fox's Big Fat Art Thread
« on: September 13, 2008, 11:50:47 PM »
Updated 2010-04-26: Holy shit, I remember this thread. New stuff marked with NEW!

Because I want to detatch myself from all that Gleemax rubbish (the fact that it's now giving me persistent login errrors... well, that's just added to the problem XP). I thought I'd grab my old art-show thread from there and port it over. This isn't all of my stuff, of course - broadly I've limited it to D&D characters and critters, or sometimes similar RPGs.

Don't mind the out-of-date descriptive text for some of these... I just don't have time to update them all XP Also, newer art is now toward the top of each category. I'll highlight nbew things when I add them from now on ^^

So, without further ado...

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

Cobrin'Seil
Stuff from Talen's D&D world, of which I am Supreme Editor And Facsist Art Director.
  • Tess Poses - Various ninja-type poses of my psychic!warlock changeling boy, Tesselae, whom I absolutely love playing.
  • GBR DS-Lite Skin - A DS-Lite skin I made for a good friend's birthday/Xmas gift, featuring chibis from the first D&D game he joined, Glory By Reluctance. Featuring glorious full colour! Well, chibis in anime-style cel shading, anyway :p
  • Yaken designs - Appearance and outfit designs for my mannish deep elf PsiWar, Yaken.
  • Random Elf Fighter: Random D&D art I been kickin' around. Yes, even I draw feminine females now and then. This one has some kinda polearm and evidently likes ribbons. Note the flat chest - when the setting says elves are supposed to have slight builds, they probably shouldn't have giant boobies ;p
  • Random Elf 1: Really it's just a random elf. Very manga-ish hair.
  • Random Elf 2: Aand again ^^; It's been a long time since I was able to just draw something random that didn't totally suck, so I'm kinda happy.
  • Elf & Eldrake: Eldrakes are teeny little psionic dragons from Cobrin'Seil who are primarily insectivores. I think they're so totally awesome ^_^
  • Grey Elf: An iconic grey elf from Corin'Seil (they're recklessly charismatic fun-lovers in this setting, not studious mages). I figured the eyepatch would demonstrate their racial archetype pretty well :p
  • Geomancers, Big and Small - This started off as just a random picture, but now I'm pretty sure it's a pic of a pair of Geomancers - demonstrating the flexibility of the Class, since you can really go beatstick or spellchucker with it ^^
  • Felbraug Rogue - Probably the most unique race of Cobrin'Seil, the felbraug are an inherently psionic race related to rats. They fill the halfling role of being the little nimble guys, and have the added bonus of making great Psions. And they're cute :p
  • Abilen Warrior Arcane - Designed to be an iconic example of both a core race and a core class from the Corbin'Seil Campaign Setting - the abilen, anthropomorphic cat-people, and the Warrior Arcane, a core combat/caster Class. Complete with ferret-dragon thing as a familiar ^_^
  • Equitarn - Another Cobrin'Seil race, this one filling the role of Large beatstick - the equitarn, giant horse-people. And, of course, any iconic giant horse-person drawn by me is gonna be a chick ;p
  • Caliban - Another Cobrin'Seil race (from the Exalted expansion, actually), the Caliban - the result of breeding between and Elf and an Orc. I love these guys ^.^
  • Jaren, Revisited - Yes... my hugely-scarred, pseudo-masochistic, self-hating sun-elven angst-heap Jaren found himself a place in Cobrin'Seil. It's a rather powerful moment for me... this character had such a screwed-up ending the first time I played him, and I have been waiting years for a chance to fix what went wrong. Now I can play Jaren the way he was meant to be... here's to second chances. And I love this pic ^.^
  • Rashiel design - Along with revisiting Jaren's concept for Cobrin'Seil, I also revisited the cult that scarred him so - and designed them a leader. My God, those must be the best boobies I have ever drawn... I'm not entirely happy with the tattoos, but they came out better than they normally do for this sort of thing ^^;
  • Lei Lin design - Whoohoo, cute angsty Warlocks! Xiao Lei Lin is a "Woven One" - an elf who died, but was brought back as a sort of good undead by his god - who is possessed by some sort of mysterious power. He was killed by one of his friends, and might be in love with his twin sister. Wow, and we haven't even started playing the game yet ^_^;;;
  • Shosuro Uyoku - You know how, when a huge, loud, dangerous-looking guy with a nodachi walks into a teahouse, and is followed by a uber-calm tiny guy in a robe with no visible weapons, you know that the little guy is the one to worry about? Well, this is Uyoku, the little guy. He's my character from a current Oriental Adventures/Rokugan game, or the Cobrin'Seil equivalent thereof; also known as the White Scorpion, Uyoku is a creepily calm and baby-faced courtier/water shugenja who has managed to make himself quite renowned in recent years. I'm exceptionally proud of this picture ^_^
  • Furry fairy thing - Here I am messing around with pencils, for basically the first time since ever. I have no idea what this thing is. I was just trying to draw something random and slightly less manga-ish (the type of thing that, say, Dragon magazine might like) and it got kinda out-of-control. I do think it's adorable, though ^_^
  • Ferret-dragon thing - Still experimenting with pencil. Here's a weird little critter I designed to be an alternative familiar, for those who are bored of things like cats and ravens. Ferrets rule and dragons rule, so a ferret-dragon must be some kind of god :p Must remind Talen to stat it out some time...
  • Jayden - My latest PC, Jayden. He's an Aasimar (a template in our game world) Abilen (anthropomorphic cat) Adherent, with the domains of Healing and Lust. I did a big schpeel on him, about his past and stuff, but basically he's a sweet-natured boy who's in denial about a certain incident which left him horribly scarred and disfigured, and is constantly under an Alter Self spell. This is just a litle design sketch of him with his weapon of choice, a spiked chain.
  • Jayden (again) - 'Nother pic of Jayden, looking all saucy and stuff. I was too lazy to draw in the chains here, but I'm proud of the picture ^^
  • Uilian's Adherent - More Adherents. This is the iconic "holy warrior" for Uilian the Childfather, the God of Regeneration and Reprodution in Cobrin'Seil. He (yes, he!) is a LG Abilen (cat-morph), who represents the Domains of Lust and Healing. A fun combination, I thought ^_^
  • Schwartzstrom's Adherent - And here's the iconic Adherent of Schwartzstrom, Cobrin'Seil's Chaotic Good God of Storms and Strength. She gets Winter and Glory ^^
  • The Lord's Adherent - The Lord being a Cobrin'Seil God who is LE, but has everybody convinced he's LG. This be his iconic Aderent, whose domains are Nobility and Hatred.
  • Sia - From the "Adherent" supplement my fiancee is working on; a Paladin-alike halfling girl.
  • Amy - Upcoming D&D Cohort character, Sun Elven Cleric. This was a gift for a friend - my female characters tend to be more buff than this ;p
  • Myrwyn - Again from the Adherent supplement; Myrwyn, the dwarven Adherent woman.
  • Unnamed - Old character concept; Chaotic Good Zenythri Boy. He's now going to be part of the Adherent supllement.
  • Unnamed - Zenythri Boy with chibis! :D
  • Cayden - Recent D&D character: Cayden Willowby, a naive human Paladin raised by halflings.
  • Jaren - A midly psychotic elf with a phobia of showing himself. Mostly because he had big evil tattoos all over his body, but that's another story.
  • Jaren - Yeah, these tattoos.
  • Lanin - Crossdressing elf mage. He was raised as a girl mostly by accident, and it kinda stuck :p
  • AAOH - Adventurers Against Overpriced Healing! Our party fighter got poisoned down to a three STR and beaten up somewhat thoroughly. My character was his protective adoptive mother, and penned this flyer when we had to fork out for restorations :p
  • Kenda - One of Talen's niftier characters - a halfling monk who, to bodyguard his elven lord, disguised himself as that Lord's young daughter. So fun ^___^
  • Kenda & Ti-Ana - Kenda with the cohort he later picked up, Ti-Ana the monk/Druid.
  • Random Halfling Pirate Wench! - Bored in TAFE. Drew piratey halfling! ^^
  • Natal - An Aasimar Sorceror playwright, wiuth a penchant for old dusty books and naughty woodcuts.
  • Shinkai - My Oriental Adventures character, PsiWarrior and dancer/prostitute Ringtail-Hengeyoukai, Shinkai.
  • Sidhe Smith - My Half-Elven blacksmith, with a bad Scottish accent, a fierce protector's instinct, and a liking for young elven boys.
  • Maren - A historic NPC from one of our games. Yes, he is a blind archer - Blindsight rules! ^_^
  • Psiantrix - My fianceé Talen's psionic fey, the Psiantrix.
  • Quinnix - Nifty little beastie that I randomly designed, and Talen statted out. They're psionic now, focusing on constructing.
  • Grial - 'Nother random beastie, also known as a shifter deer.

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

Misc
  • NEW Talen Valentine 1 - Epic nerdery.
  • NEW Talen Valentine 2 - Epic nerdery, continued.
  • NEW Ghostlight - Lady Sorceror and odd little familiar, gift for a friend.
  • My Talen: Mine mine mine MINE!
  • If I Were a Drow: Apologies if this is too bileful/strong languagey for Wizards to allow. I just think drow are stupid. Hey, just don't read it if you like drow or Gary Gygax ^^;
  • Shindou - Gratuitous re-use of characters ^^; Okay, so the story goes that I had a really nifty idea based around Shindou and Cirrus (Shindou's original design is in the Cobrin'Seil section), which I wanted to make as a series, with other characters - but it wouldn't work without their dynamic and Shindou's background. So, well, now there's Pride-of-Iblis-Shindou and other-story-Shindou ^^;
  • Rika - A second character from the new Shindou-related story - Rika, nutty tomboy and freakishly small half-giant. The sword belongs to her big sister, who actually is the right size for it. I don't usually do characters like this, but I think she'll fit well into the story ^_^
  • Reishi - Reishi, another character from the new Shindou-related story, which really does need a name ^^; She, inspired by another recent character, is an immensely cool stoic samurai chick. She also happens to be a half-demon, and a racked one at that. ^-^v
  • Rou - Finally, I managed to draw my crossdressing Drow Ninja boy! ^.^ I'm quite proud of this one. I'll explain the ears some other time :p
  • Andaiyu - Upcoming D&D character. A "trace-dragon" Barbarian/Dragonslayer woman.
  • Adia - My first D20Modern character, from a recent one-shot campaign. Strong/Tough Hero bouncer, with Big Fekkin' Crowbar. Crowbar drawn crappily XP
  • Shindou - Upcoming D&D character: Shindou, a psychotic demon catboy based on the Legend of the Monkey King.
  • Aya - A very Joan D'Arc style character, whom I never made in the end, because she needed to be a Chaotic Good Paladin. Dammit!
  • Buttercup, Weyr & Soreko - A memorable NPC, Buttercup the CHA-17 minotaur woman. Pictured with Weyr the angry Sorceror (left) and Soeko the wimpy cabin boy, who had the misfortune to trigger her maternal instinct.
  • Khaira - My 6'6" Elven-Barbarian-raised-by-Half-Orcs, Khaira Swanwing (Smashfist!!!!!). Greatclub made of a tyrannosaurus femur >:D
  • Shade - My Star Wars character, mute one-armed half-alien tank, Shade. sort of like a taller, quieter Wookiee :p
  • Wing - Not a D&D character, but I never got to play him in the game he was created for, and he may well make a good Air-Genasi...

Requests/Commissions/Fanart!
  • NEW Nereid Commission, coloured - Coloured version of Nereid Commission, below
  • NEW Faerie Commission, coloured - Coloured version of Faerie Commission, below
  • Faerie Commission - A recent commission I'm extremely happy with (un-detailed nudity).
  • Neriad Commission - Another recent commission; I really love this one (un-detailed nudity).
  • Elena Booker: A character art gift for the Furcadia play of the same name, of her cute crossdressing mercenary girl. Talen wants to use it for an Abilen example in the Cobrin'Seil sourcebook, though, and I'm inclined to let him.
  • Ad'non - The Drizz't fanboy. For Iuducium (or rather, his/her brother) from the Character Art Requests thread (quite a ways back on it, too ^^; ).
  • Jaya - Probably looking a bit more femme than he's supposed to, but ah well ^^;; For Wren, from the CAR thread!
  • Syke - Egad, I can't believe I was able to draw this O_o; 'Tis Simeon38X's psuedonatural femboy Drow, also from the CAR thread... and he actually looks pretty cute! Oo; I've just realised I got his sides reversed, though... ^^;;
  • Three Pair - Again from the CAR thread, 'tis KWhit's rogue Preston, getting himself into a bit of trouble with a dodgy Poker hand ;p He doesn't seem to phased, though...
  • Curien Laelithar - Iuducium's sexay cat-anthropomorph Aasimar, from the Character Art Request thread ^^ I just couldn't resist drawing him after reading his description! *grin*
  • Imoen - The thief from Baldur's Gate II.
  • Viconia - The sexy drow cleric from BGII.
  • Trogdor - A crime against Wacom Tablets everywhere :p
  • Gnudtae - From the old Character Art Request thread, Black Ice's nifty gnomish barbarian.
  • Brazen - From the old Character Art Request thread: Lord Brazen Half-League, Smiling Tyrant's Paladin-Telepath, trying really hard to look cool.
  • Nicos - From the old Character Art Request thread: Nicos Tharr, Horgesh's NPC Cleric of Lathander, 'cuz he sounded nice ^_^
  • Orcy the Chibi Wonder! - A teeny gift for Orcy the Green Wonder :p

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

Magic: The Gathering
  • Brayden Bloodmane - Well, okay, it's nothing much. But I'm very proud of it. Brayden Bloodmane, take... whatever. The original version was boring and the second version... well, how can you call somebody with short hair "Bloodmane"? Anyways, I think I've finally got it perfect with this incarnation. Behold the barbarian king! A comlete style guide, in fact.
  • Safe Haven - This may or may not be the final card art... it was just something I sketched after hearing the card name. There aren't enough non-uglyslaveringmutant animals in Magic...
  • Lancer - Talen asked me what I would have done with Akroma's abilities and numbers, and here it is*. Originally she was a dragon rider, but then I remembered that I suck at drawing dragons, so I got rid of the dragon and gave her wings instead ^^
  • Wakebearer - The Green/White hero of the set. What's with the name? Well, that would be telling ;p
  • Wirewood Elite - I need to add elfy ears ^^; This was just somebody I sketched while Talen was playing some Arena League (he got his DCI Land! Yaay! ^.^) who came out pretty cool, so we decided to use her for a card ^^
  • The Barbarian King - Again. A better picture, with more smash-y-ness ^_^ Her arm is a bit wonky, though, and she still needs a name ^^;
  • The Barbarian King - A character designed for a block of Magic: The Gathering cards my fiancee Talen is making. She's a great big badass Red/Green Legend who rallied the Goblins and Barbarians to fight against Karona, thus earning herself her title. She needs a name ^^;
  • Kai - Conversely, he needs a title. Kai was also designed for this block; I mostly designed him because I wanted to make a Black card which wasn't evil or ugly. I'm extremely happy with the result! ^_^ If you can't read the quote there, BTW, it says "I would sooner wear scars I can see than chains I cannot... your own choice, I leave to you.". It's his flavour text ^_^

Shadow of the Ages
There's no shame in loving Legend of Zelda, and I will fight anybody who says otherwise. And then, they will explode.
  • NEW Longing to Be - One of Talen's Zelda characters, Skri, a magical crossbreed Hylian/Goron forced to work for the bad guy.
  • NEW Who Still Burns - One of Talen's Zelda characters, Silver, a most dedicated Hylian watchman.
  • NEW Venus Profile - Character guide for my rage-filled cursed Keaton, who is now a Garo instead.
  • NEW Wren Profile - Character guide for my scarred Hylian plant-mage.
  • NEW Tesselae Profile - Character guide for my motivationally ambiguous water mage.
  • NEW Indira Profile - Character guide for my ruthless Gerudo princess.
  • NEW Nubira Profile - Character guide for my Gerudo sorceress.
  • NEW Shadi Profile - Character guide for my ostentatious former-slave fire mage.
  • NEW Alin Profile - Character guide for my bratty poe boy.
  • NEW Leyla Profile - Character guide for my saucy desire-mage.
  • NEW Adina Profile - Character guide for my giant horse woman.
  • NEW Elon Profile - Character guide for my weird little Hylian healer.
  • NEW Jehan Profile - Character guide for my cross-dressng Gerudo "princess".
  • NEW Kafei Profile - Character guide for my abused Sheikah.
  • NEW Sendari Profile - Character guide for my half-Gerudo thug.
  • Fighting Pose - Sendari - Sketchy colour ref for my tanky half-Gerudo warrior, Sendari.
  • Fighting Pose - Jehan - Sketchy colour ref for my Gerudo princess trap, Jehan.
  • Fighting Pose - Kafei - Sketchy colour ref for my Sheikah version of Kafei.
  • Fighting Pose - Leyla - Sketchy colour ref for my gratuitous/mysterious sorceror, Leyla.
  • Fighting Pose - Elon - Sketchy colour ref for my crossdressing light mage, Elon.
  • Fighting Pose - Shadi - Sketchy colour ref for my Gerudo-owned Hylian slave boy, Shadi.
  • Fighting Pose - Alin - Sketchy colour ref for my mischevious ghost/shadow mage boy, Alin.
  • Random Sheikah - I just love drawing Sheikah.
  • Sendari Upgrade - Sendari's design graduates from sexy ninja type to manly warrior type.
  • Aniya Remodel - Remake of a shitty old Mary-Sue character whose design was nonetheless cute. Is it sacreligious to have a Triforce tattoo on your butt?
  • Nei and the Gravorgs - A weird catgirl-type thing from my Zelda campaign, being harrassed by a D&D critter from (I think) the 3.0 Fiend Folio.

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

Under the Star
A longtime pet project included here pretty much entirely for vanity.
  • Hana design - Filling a party gap by adding a blaster mage who happens to be a bratty shoyo boy.
  • Aya design - Filling a party gap by adding a gunner character (and balancing up the number of males versus females somewhat).
  • Sex on Legs - A better-proportioned picture of Uroko, and a realisation of her in-game powers.
  • Joseibi costume design - A detailed study (and finalisation) of Joseibi's costume.
  • Tsuyu costume design - A detailed study of Tsuyu's costume. Yum.
  • Harako's family - The adoptive "family" of Talen's UtS character.
  • Sei (Kousei) - The main character of the story. He's an orphaned street kid with too many issues and a bad sexual history I will avoid talking about here, to keep everything kosher. He's my favourite character! ^_^ And everybody else in the cast wants to get into his pants for some reason or another, but you can hardly have a good anime without a few romantic complications ;p
  • Harako's Family: The adoptive family (sensei - left, and fellow pupil - right) of a character from the Under the Star RPG I'm looking to run.
  • Sei with hatching: A bit more art form my sci/fantasy story, Under the Star - Sei lookin' apprehensive (for a change! :p) with a sort of psuedo-hatching technique for shading.
  • If It Is To Be: Sei and Tsuyu (the young figurehead emperor of the elflike shoyo race) in an artsy shoujo-manga moment. Before anybody freaks out about the nudity, they're boys - I made sure to cover everything important :p
  • Kami (Usei Ookami) - Sei's best friend, a tough badass bartender woman who turns into a wolf (everybody in this setting turns into some kind of mutant form occasionally, with the exception of Sei, who is a freak like that). She's pretty much a blatant self-insert - albeit idealised, of course ^^;
  • Kourui (Kyosuke Kourui) - The uber-submissive Sorceror who starts out apprenticed to the main villain of the piece. He winds up falling in love with Sei, though, and turns against his master when it comes time for fighting. He's an extremely self-doubting and insecure young man, and actually possesses far more magical power than he gives himself credit for.
  • Joseibi (Yuuseme Joseibi) - The sadistic, dominant, and generally extremely vile bad guy, Lord Joseibi. The less said about his various unsavory practices, the better (at least on a general-audience board). He's also a "shoyo", a dying race which are a vague combination of elves and vampires (without the bloodsucky and immortality - they do get the fangs, though). And so uber-bishounen ^.^
  • Karasu (Yuri Karasu) - The spandex-clad lesbian raven Shaman extrardinaire. No, really, she calls herself that - she vents her insecurities and relationship issues by making sure that everybody (mostly the guys) knows she's hot and likes boobies. She's constantly hitting on Kami, much to the bartender's weary frustration.
  • Zan (Kemono Zannin) - An infamous thief, spy and informant who also happens to be Kami's adopted father (though it's more like annoying big brother, really). He prides himself on being the biggest thorn the authorities have ever had in their side, and is generally looked up to by the huddled masses (as much as anybody is, at least). He's also too confident and cynical for his own good.
  • Uroko (Kumotsumu Uroko) - A devious, backstabbing, self-interested biyatch who specialises in manipulating everybody around her to her every whim. She's joint leader of the rebellion movement in the story, but nobody really trusts her (except her partner). Why she's helping the rebels is a mystery to all, and her true motives remain unknown.
  • Noroi (Hoko Noroi) - The other, more different rebel leader. He's one of your knightly types - noble, chivalrous, honourable, and really rather dense. He does, however, possess an impressive ability to motivate people, and has managed to persuade large numbers of the "opressed slums" faction to rebel against the authorities.
  • Kai (Ichidou Sokai) - Sort of a wanderer ascetic, who mostly just wanders around helping people. A shaman, he's gifted with the ability to draw power from the hope of those around him - his magic takes a form similar to psionics in D&D, and he specialises in making constructs with it. He's also the only person in the story who has already gotten over his issues :p
  • Nezumi (Iro Nezumi) - I like geek girls :p Nezumi used to be a protege scientist working for the authorities, and could have stopped the cataclysm which mostly destoryed the world - wracked with guilt when she didn't, she gave up her standing and moved into the slums to help people with her mechanical genius.
  • Reishi (Mi Reishi) - My other, more different favourite character. Reishi is a very jaded and stoic soldier who's terrible at dealing with people and/or affection, though she has a soft spot for her little sibling. She was working for the evil-overlords-to-be(tm) when the cataclysm happened, and although she knows she's on the wrong side, her loyalty and sense of duty has kept her there.
  • Shuji (Mi Shujinkou) - Reishi's little brother/sister. (s)he doesn't feature in the basic plot, but was actually created for the (computer) RPG version of the story, as the main character - hence Shuji is almost totally generic, right down to the part where the player chooses his/her gender :p I think I did an okay job of generic-but-interesting ^_^

Hey, awesome!  I haven't seen you or Talen Lee post a whole lot here - we n33dz j00! :)

EDIT: Although I must say the last two sentences of that "Drow & Gary Gygax" thing is kinda in bad taste now.  Maybe not when it was first drawn, but definitely not a great thing to say now. :)

We are making the sourcebook work! That is to say, I am bullying Talen into reviewing, fixing, finalising and OGL-ising his homebrew stuff, in the hopes it could finally be published as one complete book. Madness! He keeps worrying that 3.5 is obsolete, but I tend to think it will remain popular, at least until they expand 4th a whole bunch.

As for the drow picture, you know, I didn't even think about it ^^; I guess it might be kind of bad taste, but honestly, I think it's more disrespectful to try to backpedal over something you said about a guy, just because he died. Do I appreciate the role he had in founding D&D? Sure. Am I sorry that his family and friends lost somebody they cared about? Absolutely. Does that change my opinion on his world, his concepts, and his ridiculous charicatures of women? Of course not. Somehow, I don't think he would have cared.

I am on a yahoogroups e-mail list for dnd discussion in my local area. I posted a link to your drow female and called it "Drow can be Funny". My friend snarfed diet coke through his nose. It was awesome, thanks.  :bow

You know what?

Fuck Gygax.

Dead or alive his ideas still exist. He doesn't suddenly become a different person or gain more respect just because he's dead.

So fuck him and the horse he rode in on.

In the D&D community "Gygaxian" is not a positive connotation, unless "douchebag DM" is also a positive connotation.

Also, R.A. Salvatore needs the curbstomping Fox, he's the one that really made Drow popular with the fanboys. I heard of Drizzle Douchebag years ago when some guy wanted to stat Drizzle as a Warhammer character. I had no idea who this Douchebag character was, but after a brief explanation as to "how he's so awesome" and "how he can beat anyone in these massive free-for-all arena fights" I was pretty much convinced to stop paying attention.

That was about 13 years ago. I still haven't read a drizzt book. Honestly, I probably never will, and I'm fine with that.
Name kept out of inertia. Thirteen years and counting.

Apparently, Gygax had a near-death conversion to Christianity, maintaining his streak of bad judgement.

A friend of mine with whom I've fallen out of contact actually had the dubious honour of being in a game ran by Gygax, alongside a female player. The tales based on that session were horrific.

You're right about that XP Hell, Salvatore is responsible for compounding all the horrid female drow stereotypes with equally horrid male counterparts. Or, in other words, fuck Drizzt with a big old pink stick.

Maybe I should do sequels... yeah, one for Salvatore and a great big one for Greenwood...

Oh definitely.

One for creating the single most recognized, and single most annoying, version of the "i'm from a bad group of people but i've made good" character concept. Really Drizzle is an emo Mary Sue with a penis instead of a vagina. I'm not a big fan of Mary Sues.

The other for creating "Forgotten Brothels"; the old FR maps replaced the instances of brothels with... "festhalls." Apparently FR has some large amount of VD going about, maybe that's why Elminster is always travelling around and not stopping Evil. He needs to suppress VD, with the goddess of magic that probably lets him cheat and cast the divine spells to do so.

Because, let's face it, anyone who took a level of Rogue at first level on their Wizard character probably doesn't know how to give themselves every spell in that they ever heard, nor how to add cleric spells to their spellbook.
Name kept out of inertia. Thirteen years and counting.
