Dragon Hunter
Dragons are a constant threat and only one man can stop them...the Dragon Hunter. Cheesy, but that's basically the plot. The characters were well done, if not cliched, the acting wasn't too over the top, and the dragons(or more acurately, dragon since only one is seen up close) actually looked decent. The only major problem I had was the horrendous shaky-cam during the fight scenes. It was so bad I couldn't tell what the hell was going on half the time. Despite it's flaws, it still held up as a fun film and is definitely worth a watch.
Dragonquest
This has nothing to do with the game or book with the same name. An evil sorcerer is using a dragon to gain control of the kingdom and only one man can stop him. Overused premise, but it works. Marc Singer still kicks ass even at 61 as the old warrior Maxim who teaches the guy who's supposed to stop the bad guy. The whole quest to reach the bad guy involves lots of moral lessons for the would-be hero which gets kinda repetitive, but overall it's an enjoyable film. The fights are much better than Dragon Hunter, as is the acting, but I think I prefer it over this film. Still, it's worth a watch.
