Just joined. Greetings all. For some reason I can reply and send messegaes but I cannot start a new thread. What am I missing? (using Ubuntu 9.10 w/Firefox)

ETA: Nevermind, now that I made this reply I can start a new thread. Guess you need to reply to someone else's thread before you can start your own.

Had a similar problem, but hopefully this post will fix it.

seems to be quite a commen problem here. I see the point about the mechanic. forcing people to contribute before they can drain, but perhaps it would be a good idea to add it to the post about posting guidelines? would mean abit less confusion

It's right at the top of the boards and clearly labeled. :p Min/Max It! =/= BG.

And part of it is to prevent spambots.

My work
The tier system in a nutshell:
Tier 6: A cartographer.
Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Tier 1: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything and the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
