I don't think the problem is too many divine as much as not enough arcane. And I think a Rogue poisoner would fall behind the Ur Priests, full manifesters and binders pretty fast.

I'm not too hot on playing an arcane caster, but I could try. Perhaps a War Weaver ? A wizard 5/ War Weaver 5/full casting something 5 (Incantatrix ?) might be helpful.

Ok, this is what I got for the Cleric. It would be an elusive, dead-animating, divine caster with some fluff on gardening.

Kristian Matsson
Male N-E Human Cleric, Level 15, Init +9, HP 261/161, DR 10/Magic, Speed 20 ft/40 ft
AC 50, Touch 34, Flat-footed 41, Fort +20, Ref +14, Will +20, Base Attack Bonus +11/+6/+1
Collision, Seeking Greatbow+1 +21/+16/+11 (1d10+5,  )
 (+3 Armor, +9 Dex, +13 Natural, +4 Deflect, +11 Misc)
Abilities Str 8 , Dex 28, Con 22, Int 18, Wis 32, Cha 12
Condition Every morning Kristian casts the following spells:

- Persisted Necrotic Empowerment: Granting +8 to Dex, Int and Wis, +8 NA, +5 on Fort and 100 temp hit points.
- Persisted Visage of the Deity: Granting Fire and Cold resistance 20, SR 20 and DR 10/Magic
- Magic Vestment: +3 to AC for 16 hours.

Any advice?
Believe.

OK, I will take on myself the position of evil arcane caster.  Since that's what I want to do anyway.

However, knight of the weave is any non-evil... which is why I wanted to re-fluff it to be shadow weave.

But if I don't do UM, then I don't need KotW.  So I'll put something together (something FINAL) and post it in a little while.

bears, I'm working on a psiotheurgy build.  What discipline Psion are you?  I'm considering a Seer/Focused Diviner, but I don't want to overlap too much.

EDIT: OK, my 3 choices are Diviner/Seer, Transmuter/Egoist, or Conjurer/Shaper.  Anyone want to weigh in?

EDIT: nevermind.  I want to do Ardent, not psion.  Duh.

I guess I could go on with a Gish since everyone in the current party and everything else in FR will have magicks and etc; being mundane could somewhat be totally terribad.

If not, any thoughts on what the party would need?

So far we have:

1) Lich Illithid Psion (bears)
2) Binder (carnap)
3) Pixie DFA (harald)
4) Some sort of martial character (dna1)
5) wildshape range MoMF (shadowhunter)
6) jurassicleric (drhorrible)
7) psiotheurgist (sirpercival)

If you want to rock a gish, you could try the amazing divine gish idea I had, entitled "Yo Dawg":

Yo Dawg, I herd you like crusaderz -- Crusader 7/Divine Crusader 1/Sovereign Speaker 7 (--> SS +2/DC+2/C+1)

BAB +17, 9th-level casting from 10 domain lists, IL 14, SAD Charisma.

Don't want to be that guy, but seven level 15 characters will get way out of hand. Has DM said how many people will play?

Illithid is coming along great. Still searching the web for Mind Flayer naming patterns before I decide that. Stats are mostly done, nailing down persisted spell effects and items. Psicrystal still needs work however. Fluff is mostly done too. Excited to play this character.

My psiotheurgist build is in the works.  Here's some basics (still deciding on feats, etc.):

Str 8 Dex 10 Con 14 Int 20 (17+3) Wis 16 Cha 9

LE Illumian Focused Conjurer 1/Ardent 2/Cerebremancer 2/Incantatrix 5/C +1/I +2/C+1/I+1 (for FC1/A2/C4/I8)

Feats: SF: Conjuration, Improved Initiative, Improved Sigil: Krau [flaw], Extend Spell, Iron Will [Otyugh Hole], Persistent Spell, Psiotheurgist: Conjuration, Twin Spell, Practiced Manifester: Ardent, Quicken Spell, 2 free.

ML 12 (6th-level powers), CL 15 (7th-level spells).

Any suggestions?  The build doesn't shout "EVIL!", but I guess that'll be how I play him.

Someone asked me about leadership, and that is fine, just realize that a cohort is weaker than the rest of the party and can become the weakest link if you depend on them. A valuable but underpowered cohort can make an excellent target. :devil Also, remember that you need epic leadership to improve your cohorts and followers into epic lvls.

Agreed.
Im not sure what the player cap will be, I can only assume 4-6 players. I know his preferred party size is 4.. so who knows.
But since I found the DM.. + he is my friend IRL, its pretty safe to say Im for sure in  :devil

Still tossing around build Ideas. Its a little hard atm since Im in the hospital currently with newborn twins! :P
But Im sure I will come up with something outrageous fairly soon  :smirk

Well it seems nearly impossible to get away from casting completely and still be relevant around these levels... So after thinking it over for awhile I came up with a few builds here.
Torn between a blackguard or some sort of RB..
I was liking a Runescarred Berserker idea so I kind of fleshed that out.
something6 / Blackguard7 / NarDemonbinder7

Paladin of Slaughter 2/Hexblade 3/Ur-Priest 2/Bone Knight 10/Blackguard 2/(Something 1)

half-minotaur or maybe something tauric -6/ Spirit Lion Totem Barbarian 1/ Runescarred Berserker 8
(f)Endurance, (f)Power Attack, (1)Imp. BR,  (3)Shock Trooper, (6)Combat Brute,  (9)Knockback, (12)Steadfast Determination,(15)Rampaging Bull Rush, IronWill(otyugh hole) Flaws (Shaky), (Vulnerable)
1. Divine Favor, True Strike, See Invisibility, Blank
2. Darkvision, Invisiblity, Keen Edge, Protection from Elements
3. Death Ward, Freedom of Movement, haste
4. Righteous Might, Restoration
5. Anti-Magic Field or Heal
Leadership is allowed? Um... well I'm just not going to take it. All the problems with having a 6 player game? Having 4 players with Leadership is just as bad. And it puts people in a position where if they DONT take Leadership they're woefully behind everyone else.

I was just considering taking Leadership to get an artificer cohort to make items for everyone.

Speaking of what, one of us (bot me, because I'm only 12th level) should get artificer as cohort. We could keep him in portable hole, constantly producing cheap magic items for us.
