Q31: Can a Warlock immobilized in grapple use dimensional door (sla) to get away?
DD as a spell has no somatic components, so no reason why DD as a SLA would have any.
RAW: He wouldn't be able to. Rules as they should be: That's idiotic.

Q 32 Is there an updated version of the AD&D desert giant? Third party's fine. I know of the sand giants that are in the Monster Manual and Tome of Horrors.

They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...

Q33:  If I polymorph into an aquatic creature, can I breathe underwater?  I gain the "physical qualities" of the creature I polymorph into - does that include working gills?

Correct.  IIRC, it also gives you the (aquatic) subtype, in which that is an inherent benefit (well, some ability to breathe underwater is, not necessarily gills).
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

Q34:  I'm looking for ways to add Delay Death to a couple of non-cleric characters I am working on.  I know about the Destiny domain.  Are there any other ways to get it as...

34a.  ...a druid?
34b.  ...a wizard?
34c.  ...an SLA or item?

Q 35 When you make nonhumanoid armor with special materials, what part of the price is doubled? All of it, or just the base cost of the armor? Say for example, nonhumanoid mithral breastplate. 8400 gold, or 4400 gold?

Q36: There is a whip somewhere that does lethal damage and works on armored critters. Does anybody know where? I thought it was in Drow of the Underdark, but I am not finding it there. Alternatively, are there any other good ways to get 15' of continuous melee reach before adding Expansion and being stretched on the rack for a Willing Deformity?

A36:  An Awl Pike has 15' reach and works basically like a longer spear.  Also consider the Fiendish Graft from Fiend Folio for extra reach.

A36 There's the Whip Dagger from the Arms and Equipment Guide; I don't know if it's been updated elsewhere.

edit: Nope, not updated, so should be good to use.

Aberrant Blood/Aberrant Reach
Wiilling Deformity/Deformity- Tall
Fiendish Graft:  Long Arm

This gives you a melee reach of 20 ft, pre size increase to large. (assuming you are medium sized)

Just the two feat chains will net you +10 ft of reach, which is amusing when used on a psicrystal, for instance.

The Whip Dagger, from 3.0 will net you  15 ft reach with lethal, as will a couple of specific magic items which are whips (The Water Elemental whip from Eberron is the one off the top of my head) but without Lasher (the 3.0 prestige class) you can't threaten with the whip.  This is, obviously, sometimes a problem.  I'd probably use the Drow Scorpion Chain or Kusari Gama instead, since they're basically metal whips (albeit only with 10 ft of reach) all Castlevania style, and they threaten as well as a spiked chain.  Combine Kusari Gama with the Aberrant and Deformity feats, and you threaten 0-20 feet at medium size, can do lethal damage, and such.  It's ... five feats to manage this, of course.  But reasonably impressive, all the same.

Although you keep it in hand, the whip-dagger is treated as a ranged weapon with a maximum range of 15 feet and no range penalties.

all whips were ranged weapons in 3.0, invalid concern.

There's also a couple of whips in the MIC.

A34: Planar Touchstone (Catalogues of Enlightenment) should do it, if there is a domain that has it as a spell. I'm pretty sure there is. Let me go check my wizard with it...

Edit: 3rd level, Destiny Domain
