I love Invisible Spell.  :smirk Really wish it could be used with warlock invocations for just this situation.

Use the bat or Raven (Doves if you want them to be immune to weapon damage) swarms for Summon Swarm, so they either bleed to death or get blinded until they get professional healing. Even the most stalwart army is going to take pause if groups of them suddenly get torn to bloody shreds or have their eyes scratched out by things they can't see. The best part is the fact that they're such low level spells you should be able to keep it up all day.
This is just FKN evil. I must use it as a DM...

I know it is way beyond your current casting ability and you're defending the town not destroying it. But an Invisible Widened Quagmire Vortex would make one heck of a sadistic evil Druid spell to just make towns vanish.
Tiers explained in 8 sentences. With examples!

Somehow, I keep thinking this when I read that spell...
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

Some other nice spells are Cloud Burst (RoF), Plague Carrier (RoF) and Tortoise Shell (RoF).

The opposition contains a large number of elven archers so I am somewhat disinclined to actually fly above them.
longbow's Can shoot to a maximum of 10 range increments and won't have more than 150 ft. per increment. 1505 ft up and your fine.

I am only 300 xp from leveling and it is really irritating me right now because I have never seen such a good time to use murderous mist (Spc) then this.
Guerrilla attack on the impending siege units via high flying bombardment. Level from that, and have an easy time defending the town.

I really do not have prep time as I only managed to get into town a half a day ahead of the army and due to trip indued exhaustion and having primarily travel based spells. I had to sleep after arrival. So I will get very little prep time.

Have you tried using the townsfolk to set up rudimentary obstacles or traps?

Where are rules for calling raven or dove swarms?  I only remember Bat, Rat, or Spider.

If it were winter, Blood Snow would be decent, especially when combined with entangle or some other movement hindrance.
(For short combats, Drifts of the Shalm (PHBII) is a quick way to get some snow for Blood Snow (FrB))

Also, remember Obscuring Snow and Snowsight, both from Frostburn.  Both first level and hours per level, and makes you a moving sphere of untargetable 50% miss chance, and your sight is unhindered.
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

I still vote for control weather ( http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/controlWeather.htm ) if you can cast it.
An army loses hard when it comes to blizzards or tornados, even excessive rain and mud can assist in spreading disease and plague through the enemy lines.
Inflicting thousands of morale and fatigue penalties? priceless.

I second the invisible swarms... that's just awesome.

have you ever tried to fire a bow with a wet string? ;-)
-> weather control ftw against an army full of elven archers!

And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~"

Well, the OP is level 6 Druid...unless he can *somehow* find a scroll, he's restricted to level 3 spells or below.

Yeah, level constraints make weather control impossible and time constraints make the disease option impractical.

As I mentioned there are time constraints, The army was right on my heels and I had to sleep so as to not be exhausted during the siege itself.
I am thinking that a good strategy will be to use some of my second level spells to summon swarms to keep organized attack froms forming. Using spike growth to limit their avenues of attack along with arctic haze and impeding stones.

You could've used Lesser Restoration instead of sleep... it's an option...
