Strictly speaking, reach weapons only double your natural reach.  For small and medium creatures, that means it's doubled to 10 feet.  The size of the weapon doesn't matter, only the size of the creature wielding it.

If you're medium and want a weapon with longer reach, your only options are the whip and its cousins that can strike at 15 feet.
There are ways to increase your reach, though (aside from increasing your size). Warshaper (3rd level, IIRC) gives +5 ft. So do a couple of feats (one aberration themed from LoM and the other originally from the BoVD).

Q159: What is the longest reach melee weapon available? Looking for the spiked chain on crack and the GM says I can't make a custom chain with 100ft of chain, slight exaggeration. That it must be stated in a book.

Why would something's CR have to be 3 under your ECL to use it as a mount?  I'm sure that it's possible, for example, to get a T-Rex as a mount when you're ECL 8.

Or are you talking the Special Mount class feature?
I mean a normal Mount, thought there is some CR/HD/size limitation. Anyone got something?

Hi a couple quick questions about a warmage/rainbow servant I'm building.
162) Does the prestige paladin (pg 70 UA) Gain access to the standard paladin spell list?
and
163) Would the sword of the arcane order feat (pg 34 CoV) grant a warmage prestige paladin the entire sorc/wiz spell list as known spells?

Q167

im making a stormcaster it comes with Any spell you cast that has the air, electricity, sonic, or water descriptor is cast at +2 caster level. If i use born of three thunders it becomes a sonic/electricity spell and if i have the reserve feats that increase sonic or electricity spells by 1 caster level would my total be +3 levels or +4 levels?

+3. The bonus only applies once thanks to same-source rules.

Q165: Couldn't a character use the feat retraining rules to swap feats that are mainly desirable to have when leveling up (education i'm looking at you) for feats that are more useful for day to day adventuring.
ie could a player prior to level up retrain say weapon focus for education and then after leveling retrain the feats back using the feat retraining rules in PHB II or psychic reformation?
Edit
I know I'm full of questions today...my DM told me the upcoming game he's going to be running is going to be brutal and we should optimize our characters to the best of our ability minus pun pun cheese :D
Q166: Does the innate spell feat check your elligability for the feat everytime you use the innate spell or only when you first acquire innate spell. The question being I suppose could you by RAW retrain silent spell and still spell to other more useful to your build feats and retain the innate spell?

A165  If, for any reason, you lose access to the prerequisites for something, you lose the benefits of that something.  It's the feat Innate Spell that grants you the spell-like, and Innate Spell requires Quicken, Silent, and Still Spell.  If you lose one of those three metamagic feats, by retraining, for example, then Innate Spell ceases to function and you lose the use of the spell-like ability.  You still have the feat Innate Spell, but it doesn't do anything if you don't have the prerequisites.

Retraining options can only be chosen during level advancement.

Q 166 RAW, can a bow or crossbow has the Keen ability on it?

Q 166 RAW, can a bow or crossbow has the Keen ability on it?

If you can find slashing arrows or keen applies to piercing, then yes, unless the property specifies melee weapons only.
Gendou Ikari is basically Gregory House in Kaminashades. This is FACT.

It does not, no, but it's not in the Ranged Weapons table. It does say to any piercing or slashing weapon. The spell uses is Keen Edge.

Text trumps table. The only restriction on keen is that it must be applied to a piercing or slashing weapon, therefore, a crossbow/bow is an eligible target because special ranged weapon abilities bestow the effect on their ammunition.

Cool. So as long as you don't use blunt arrows, you're good.

Q167:  Can I get both Bluff and Disguise as class skills (for max rank cap purposes) in 2 levels of base classes, without losing any BAB?  How?

A 167 Either be human/changeling/doppelganger and take Able Learner, or take the Skill Knowledge feat at 1st level (UA) to get one of them turned into a class skill (or take the feat twice if you really needed to).
Other than that, you'd likely have to take an alternate classes. There's the Corrupter paladin that has both of them.
Best bet would likely to sacrifice a feat.

A167) Another answer for 167 is the cleric trickery domain. It grants bluff, disguise, and hide as class skills as its domain power. You can gain it with Planar Touchstone (Catalogues of Enlightenment).

The Skill Prodigy feat seems made for this situation. I can't remember the source exactly though - I think it's either from Dragonlance Campaign Setting or Kingdoms of Calamar.

Q168: Is there any easy way for a Bard to gain heavy armor proficiency without dropping a level of casting or costing more than one feat?  (One feat would be fine, so if the bard could get medium armor proficiency, that would do the trick.)
