illumian only gives you Dex as bonus spells, not as a main casting stat. so i would still need Int.  or am i not reading that properly?

If you're Gish"-ing" it, my guess would be you will not care about giving the opposition saving throws because you only cast utility spells and buffs, hence not caring about your original casting stat. You hit things w/ a weapon, after all.

And there are plenty of screw you spells that don't require a save at all.

If 3.0 feats are allowed : Bastards and Bloodlines has a feat called Lost Tradition, page 91.

Lost Tradition (General)
"You are descended from a group of spellcasters who had very different ways of mastering magic, and you follow in their tradition."

Benefits: Choose one spellcasting class. You may change which ability score governs spellcasting with that class. That ability cannot be changed again.

Special: You can take this feat only at 1st level.

This feat means your DC's, Bonus spells, Spells per day and everything are based off of a main casting stat of your choice... for example Dex.

That's not just 3.0, it's 3rd-party material.

You're saying you're flaming? I didn't know that. Or are you saying you're a troll and immune to your own flames?

Eh, more like burning.  We all know I have the express ticket to hell if Christianity or any other monotheism is right.  So I guess the latter, as I won't be at all suffering while I burn :P
