This build plays around with the various dex to damage abilities to create a crossbow gunner who can put out some serious damage. Playing it would feel something like playing a swat team member in D&D... move in, shoot down the enemy, move on.

Use Complete Warrior to give yourself proficiency in the Quickrazor, which is your backup melee weapon (Feycraft so it uses Dex to hit). By level 6 you're doing 2.5* Dex to damage with crossbows, so even when using just a hand crossbow you're pretty effective. Feats are not filled in past level 9, but you get the idea (Take Improved Rapidshot and such). Eventually, you can use a Splitting Aptitude Force Collision Greatcrossbow while using appropriate maneuvers (Dancing Mongoose and White Raven Tactics). Make sure to get eggshell grenades to use a flashbangs when you charge into a room.
Anyway, it's just the start of a build, but it could be fun.
