So I have a character I'd say is quite flavorful in mind, but there's this little problem: I want to be both a shadowcraft mage and a red wizard.
The "Full build" looks something like this:
Illusionist 5/Master Specialist 3/Shadowcraft Mage 5/Archmage 1/Shadow Adept 1/Red Wizard 5, so yeah. Not many levels to spare, afaik(If there was some I knew about, I'd most likely have already turned them into PrCs that are good with just a couple levels).
What I know of: Stoneblessed, but then I'd have to find a way to meet the prerequisites for Shadowcraft Mage, while losing a total of 3 caster levels, which isn't something I'd be too keen on, but maybe, if all else fails.
Then there is changeling with the racial emulation feat. Well, not too bad I'd say, but I'm not entirely sure it'd work for both PrCs at once. Losing a feat might be better than losing 3 caster levels, but then, it's effectively two feats, as humans have a bonus one.
And then, there's the schools to ban problem. Enchantment, most likely, and then I'd say evocation, as one can emulate them with the shadowcraft mage. Being a focused specialist is most likely out of question, as with Red Wizard I'll lose access to level 9 spells from a select school, and probably some twink ones too. So it could be necromancy. Can't be too bad losing on energy drain, huh? Aaaand, if I'm going with the stoneblessed path, I'll also lose access to level 8 spells, which is kinda sad.
Any suggestions, ideas, comments are appreciated.
