I'm not sure if all fey are Immortal, but many are. I do go for the whole Seelie/Unseelie Court thing. I have tons of books about those you can use if you want, later, and are accepted.

I'm inclined to say Immortal.

Tangentially related: Are there any hippos in the forgotten realms whatsoever?  I think spelljammer has hippo-men - do they count as hippos?

Not all fey are Immortal but it seems that unless specified otherwise then they are.....
For example the fey from Incarnum,Dusklings they are specifically mortal.....

Anyway, we won't be into Spelljammer for a long, long, long, LONG time. There are Hippo-men, but I doubt we'll meet any unless I feel like being silly.

I have the book. I don't have the time right now, though, and I'll need to consult my fellow DM on this one. You'll have your answer soon.

I'm only picking it up if it can get me an army of hippomen.  If there are no hippomen to be found, I'll hold off until I do start seeing hippomen.

I realize that it doesn't fit at all with Aulasha the librarian's portfolio (learning, books, grief), unless you really force it.

When people get sad they start to cry which creates water and hippos live in water, and if you spend enough time reading books you'll begin to learn how to control the sad hippos.

Anyway, CantripN, does Ghostly Grasp (from Libris Mortis) treat things on your person as 'ghost touch'? That is, are they treated as either corporeal or incorporeal depending on the situation?

That way I could bish-schlapp any ghosts that come along.
