I could do a society mind.  Once the recruitment thread pops up I'll come up with actual build ideas.
A group with a bard/crusader/warblade, a thrallherd, and a society mind?

Ouch.

Alignment is Good or Neutral with Good Tendencies only, for now. So no Lloth-Touched, sorry.
Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to be always part of unanimity.

Can I play as someone's leadership feat?  I'd love to play a henchmen.
I would spend a feat on you :D

...HEY! I already claimed my first mate.

Leadership + Landlord = Spelljammer Airship!
Heh, didn't see your edit. In that case, how would you feel about taking on a chief engineer (psiforged shaper/constructor)? We can take the specifics to PMs if you like and avoid cluttering this thread.

A Runesmith can eventually turn any spell he knows up to 1 lower than the max level he can cast into a SLA that ignores material components (a fixed price needs to be paid up front). :smirk

CantripN indicated he would be using some of my rules (probably stuff regarding spells and whatnot I'd imagine).  I don't think he's ever indicated that this is actually going to be a gestalt campaign.

Mostly correct, yes. Current idea we're going with is 10th level, +3 LA or RHD for free, and quite a few nerfs and buff to stuff (Sorcerers don't suck anymore!).

Thursday/Friday, the recruit thread opens.
So is this Gesalt or no, I missed that post...
edit: found it... I know nothing of gesalt.  :(

No Gestalt, no. Although my fellow DM wants it, I don't.

As for Magic in the Blood, no, it doesn't.
Awesome! Human fighter for the win.  :lol

Hell yes. I'll continue this via PM.

For the record:
Captain Desthin Sinkropht (JPM/AC Gish, using blue magic)
First mate Jopustopin (Contingent on whether the DM allows me to use Leadership to have a player as my cohort, by request of jop)
Chief Engineer Vicerious (psiforged shaper/constructor)
Edit: Security Officer Midnight_v (???)
Edit2: Security Chief RelentlessImp (???)

I think you mean Worf.

Didn't CantripN pretty much state that we'll all be clueless berks when it comes to Spelljamming?  Aka we're not going to start out with the USS Enterprise an interstellar pirate ship?

Honestly, there's already enough interest. But... a level 9 campaign for a change? That's hard to pass up. I know basically nothing about Planescape/Spelljammer, though.

Knowing a bit about Faerun is best, but knowledge of the others is not needed. Unless you have a realy weird PC... It's probably best you don't know much about it - easier to RP being a clueless berk.

He isn't requiring it, just said it would be easier to RP one.

That makes it sound like we at least won't be starting out with a Spelljammer ship.   :p

Yeah, I started a discussion via PM with the Chief Engineer. It will have no weaponry, and no teleportation capability. It will however move 88 feet per round and be fairly durable. It will most likely break if it crashes, but it will keep us all safe in whatever environment we end up in.

I just recently played a 3.5 spelljammer game. One thing I learned was that boarding other ships in the beginning(when your ship is a POS) is the most effective idea

Any chance that Artificer could be allowed, despite being Faerun based?
