Now I really hope that he doesn't become un-dead.

alright heres something that i was wanting to make sure of for future use if i'm able to. since Hudson can dual wield pistols and whatnot would it be possible for him to shoot 2 targets at once? if so, would he just take some sort of negative to his attack or is that out of the question? because that was one of the ideas i had in mind when i was making him, so that way he could just mow down zombies from a safe distance without harm to himself, or the others in the party. i think if it were possible it would make this just a little less of a struggle for when we have those onslaughts of zombie after zombie after zombie... kinda like what we are facing right now.

Does Chuck get a Cleave attempt from the attack on Not-Bob?

As far as the bite goes: Well, Chuck hasn't needed a Fort save vs. disease yet.  That's either very good for us... :D ...or very bad... :bigeye

...since Hudson can dual wield pistols and whatnot would it be possible for him to shoot 2 targets at once?...

Unless Ragin' is using a houserule, anyone can use two weapons (such as guns) in combat.  The penalties, however, are huge (-6 on the first attack, -10 on the second) without the Two Weapon Fighting feat.

Considering the fact that we can't seem to roll over 12...it might not be such a good idea.  It would be hilarious to hit an AC in the negatives because of the penalty, though. :lol

thats why i took the feat so then i have a smaller penalty for fighting in combat with two weapons.

I didn't look at your sheet when I responded earlier.

Since you have the Two Weapon Fighting feat and your handguns are considered light weapons you can, as a Full Attack action, make two shots (one for each hand) with a -2 penalty to hit on both shots.

so it doesn't necessarily mean they have to be shot at the same thing. therefore i can shoot separate targets?

You can shoot at two different targets.  Or twice at one target.

Heh, nice exchange while I was gone.

Sorry Gnome, I'ma say the Cleave would be a difficult feat to pull off since you are slashing downwards at Bob and your prone facing the ground. But congratulations on slaying Bob...

Bob. We didn't know much about him. But we know he owned a bar. We know he enjoyed fine foods. We know he knew how to handle a gun.

RIP Bob Someone.

I'm just going to say this once: Chuck was using a cleaver.  :drums

Hey, are you still looking for more players? If so I'm interested in joining. I've never played D20 modern or play by post before, only D&D 3.0/3.5 tabletop but it doesn't look like it's that different.

It's not that different and yeah I was thinking about picking someone else up along the way, I just have to find a way to fit you in....plus we gotta see if they make it out of their first battle.

Ok, I'll start working on a character and I'll post it when I finish so that you can figure out how to work me in. Hopefully they'll live long enough for me to save their butts.  :D

On that note...

@Maggie: I was looking over everyone's characters while thinking about how I can fit in, and I noticed that you missed some stuff with your pistol. The Colt Python always counts as mastercraft, so you should be shooting with an additional +1 hit. Also, according to the houserules you can add your dex mod to gun damage, so you should have an additional +3 damage as well.

Edit:
It also looks like you already factored in Point Blank Shot, but not Weapon Focus So you actually should be firing at:
+8 to hit = + 2 (BAB) + 3 (Dex) + 1 (WF) + 1 (PBS) +1 (Mastercraft)
+4 to damage = + 3 (Dex) + 1 (PBS)

He's right...I just noticed on your last roll you only added a 1 to your damage. The roll before that you remember though.

I mean, it doesn't matter, if you haven't hit nothing yet lol but I'm surprised you forgot that, we've been playing that way forever.

Also pimp, if you want a character with military background I require a percentile roll. Trying to keep it more every day people than everyone's an ex-black op, ex-CIA sort of thing.

I wasn't looking at her actual rolls, just her character sheet, my appologies if I was mistaken. :bow

Not really thinking military, was thinking more along the lines of nightclub bouncer or something. Then I can take a level of Bodyguard to help protect the squishier members of the party. Which it appears just about everyone counts.

Is there some reason why everyone collectively decided to dump Con?

Ahh I see. A bouncer eh? Nice. Yeah the party has pretty good AC's but relatively low HP. You get average HP for this campaign, which is 1st level max HP (thats with the CON modifier too) then other levels half hit die plus CON modifier for each level. So it pays to have CON, I guess the party was just focusing on other areas that they thought their character would have. Personally I don't put many points in CON unless I'm making a melee tank.

Thanks! That's much better.
And a bouncer is a good idea.  :) One of these days, I'll have a tough-guy character. Perhaps a large Amazon explorer, haha.
