Not quite totally devoid of matter, it'd have furniture and stuff, but pretty close.  I'm considering defenses for a lich lair that can't be easily bypassed by the ability to breathe water and/or poison immunity.

Q172: What's the least number of Binder levels one can take to qualify for Tenebrous Apostate?  There was a discussion regarding what Improved Binding can and cannot do...
Winning an argument on the internet is like winning in the Special Olympics.  You won, but you're still retarded.

You need at least 5 levels with Improved Binding (4th level Vestiges are bound at 7 and Improved Binding increases your Binder level by 2 for new vestige access).
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

Will 'Death Ward' protect me against the strength drain of undead shadows?

Yes it will. It is negative energy.

Q174: Does Dweomer of Transference ( http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/spells/dweomerOfTransference.htm ) really grant immunity to all spells cast at the target?

RAI, fuck no. RAW, probably.

Of course, the 1 minute casting time and relatively short duration mean you'll have to tinker with it a little to make it really efficient, but if your DM allows the reading (in other words, if his skull is full of pudding), it's awesome. But yeah, definitely not what the designers intended.

Q175: Can a creature wield a weapon designed for several hands with fewer? i.e. if a pole-arm is built for four arms, can it be used with two? And what penalty is it?

Maybe a pair of strongarm bracers would help too.

Q 176 A different angle on the same question. Where can I find the variant cost update for weapons that need to be altered for weapons being wielded by someone with multiple arms? Like a four-handed greatsword.

A176: That I know. It's in Savage species. Basically it's just another 300gp tacked on top of the weapon price (same as the masterwork cost).

Where does it say that? All I can read is "The cost is for a masterwork version of the weapon..." What cost though? I can't imagine it being a flat 300 gold for one extra hand vs 14 extra.

I started to think this place was never going to be back.

Back to business though.

Q 178 Where can I find magic items/gear for mounts? Anyone got a handbook? Preferably horses.

Q 179: What in Godzilla's name happened?  Judging by the timestamps on the list of most recent posts, I wasn't the only one getting an error for the last couple days.

On the main site, BG said that they knew the forums were down, and working on it. Might have been a server crash.

Q 180:

Is there a version of dragon disciple that doesn't require arcane casting to enter? I have someone in my group playing a Monk and they want to enter this class, they are adamant that it doesn't require casting and strangely requires an 8 BAB. I was thinking an old copy of Tome and Blood (3.0) but my copy has requirements similar to those in 3.5.

Someone's been taking Giacomo too seriously.  Use the SRD version, only remove all the requirements and let him gain full Sorcerer casting progression with the PrC.  He will still be terrible compared to the rest of the party.

I can't think of any Dragon-esque class that requires 8 BAB.

Horn of gorgon (Complete Champion 132) says this:
Quote
Horn of Gorgon:

Is this a cheep way to triple the effect of wish when it's used to gain an inherent bonus to strength?  How does this interact with multiple castings?
