Q17: I'm much obliged for the help on the last one, but I think this one will be a real stumper. Can anyone find a spell that's reflex save or die?
Not technically SoD, but Apocalypse From The Sky may as well be.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

No, a Locate City Bomb is an SoD.  AftS is a just die, along with everyone else on the planet.  The ground fails it's save and takes 400+ miles of nuke, causing lots of bad things to the entire place.

EDIT : Question out of sequence, will re-enter it later.

Q 15 If you are affected by a curse or other nasty (spell-based) permanent duration effect like Baleful Polymorph, would entering an antimagic field (temporarily) undo the effects?
"Suppressed" yes. Few would completely end though. Duration is another thing to check.

Q19 Do spell-like abilities also expire when a conjuration (summoning) spell expires?

http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicOverview/spellDescriptions.htm#summoning
When the spell that summoned a creature ends and the creature disappears, all the spells it has cast expire.

Q8:Is there any way to add an energy descriptor to disintegrate?

A8:
Snowcasting (Frostburn) gives it the [Cold] descriptor if you ad a handful of snow as a material component.
Popular with Eschew Materials around these parts.

By RAW, no.

That's why summon monster for a lantern archon can get you a lot of continual flame for free.

Q22: Can anyone think of an easy way to make construct HD into some other kind of non-shitty HD without losing the special attacks and SLAs of the construct? I want the nimblewright to suck less, as an NPC.

Not sure about PrC, but there's the ACF for rogue from Dungeonscape .... applies half of your SA dice to constructs and undead ... I think you loose Trap Sense or something.

[spoiler]
If you stop ignoring 289 pages telling what the intent is to stretch "more power" in your own god complexion of your interpretation trumps all to cover ability adjustments from aging then I will ignore a quarter page of rules that exist within a sidebar.
I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.

A repetition/expansion on an unanswered question from the last thread:

Q23a: Can a Spellguard of Silverymoon's Selective Spell ability be used in conjunction with long-duration BC effects, such as Freezing Fog, thus allowing (in this example) selected creatures to see and move through the Fog unimpeded?

Q23b: If this is the case, can said Spellguard designate their own type/subtype as unaffected by, and thus be able to cast within, their own Antimagic Field?

I thought they were called spell-like abilities because they worked like spells. Silly me.
Monks are pretty much the best designed class ever.

Q 26 Would I have to house rule Sacred Outlaw for it to work on an evil cleric, so it would resolve rebuking checks, and the amount of HD I could control?

(To preserve order) Q25: If an Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil has a personal or area veil around her that prevents the passage of spell effects, does that include her own? Does this mean that I can't walk around in an Indigo/Violet double personal ward and sling spells at the same time?

Q27: Are there any templates that can be placed on vermin that don't drastically change their appearance and still strengthen them? All I can come up with are the Half-X, but those are not what I'm looking for.

I see that you want to solve problems. Not problems like, "What is beauty?," because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of 'philosophy'. You want to solve practical problems. F'r instance, how are you gonna stop some big, mean Mother Hubbard from tearing you a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: Use a gun. And if that don't work? Use more gun.
And if that fails try this
