So I'm getting started on an Unseen Seer character. Given that I want to do this one with no lost CL, I'm taking the Ruathar PrC (from Races of the Wild: ridiculously easy to get into). Here are my current concerns and bases.
Human Wizard X(5?, conjurer specialist)/Ruathar3/Unseen Seer 10/X the rest
Attributes will be rolled, so I can't disclose those.
Pretty much everything is open here (except that the very first feat taken WILL be Able Learner, and that I'll take up Practiced Spellcaster eventually).
My current concerns are:
A) Early entry. Whichever method I can use to get into Ruathar early eventually pays itself off as it allows me to enter Unseen Seer a little earlier - and most of the really nice stuff in Unseen Seer is best used at low levels.
B) Getting ways to Persist stuff. I want to be able to Persist that lovely sneak attack spell (can't remember the name at the moment) before getting 8th level spells. Almost any method for doing this should be doable without CL loss (unfortunately the spell only lasts one round so Extend + ridiculously high CL doesn't work). I'd like to avoid Incantatrix if possible since I'll already be banning two schools...
Any help is appreciated. Links even moreso.

Hunters Eye spell - PHBII
Is your DM allowing Unseen Seer to just give you sneak attack? Unseen Seer advances existing sneak attack damage (see quote below). It does not give sneak attack damage. So you'll need to take a level of Rogue or Spellthief (combine with Master Spellthief feat for casting in light armor) probably at first level for the extra skill points.
Damage Bonus: At 1st level, the extra damage you deal
with your sneak attack, skirmish, or sudden strike ability
increases by ld6. If you have more than one of these abilities,
only one ability gains this increase (choose each time
you gain this benefit).
Your sneak attack, skirmish, or sudden strike damage
increases by another ld6 at 4th level, 7th level, and 10th
level.

Lil' update on that. It's gestalt now. :D To make things simpler on me, I pulled off a full rogue on the other side, for skill points.
Also managed to convince the DM to let me get my choice of sneak attack, skirmish or sudden strike, so now I have full (up to 8th level) SA AND skirmish thanks to swift hunter. Glee!

Take a level of spellthief and then go Factotum for skill points on the other side. Besides that you have all the factotum goodness as well.
-
Why spellthief specifically? I don't recall any cross-feat between spellthief and factotum.

Spellthief/factotum can steal SLAs from itself without wasting them, if I recall correctly.

Okay, that's "oooooooo..."-worthy.

The downside is that you get steal SLA at fifth level, and the maximum SLA level you can steal is your spellthief level divided by three, which means that multiclassing between them sucks.

How so? Swift Ambusher, the only Scout/Rogue MC feat I know, only lets the levels stack for SA for purposes of qualifying for ambush feats (and gives no actual dice) Swift Hunter advances Favored Enemy and Skirmish, but not SA.
