I've read The Psychic Warrior Handbook (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=162701) and The King of Smack (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19866038/The_king_of_smack.). KoS seems to be the most optimal Psychic Warrior concept that isn't Hood (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19872838/Little_Red_Raiding_Hood_A_Tale_of_38_Guide_to_the_35_Dragoon).
What other very optimal PsyWar builds and concepts are there? (No, not Hood.)

Well, I have two that I would like to submit for your perusal.
My Metamorphosis build. (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=2926.msg97988#msg97988)
And my ethereal mounted charger build. (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=11801.msg417846#msg417846)
Both are quite versatile, and are powerful enough to (more or less) keep up with the guys in T1.

And don't forget Lyca ... :)
Big Guy ... is a classic.
Ubernoob had a Lock build, just before he left (and deleted it).
The Soulbound weapon has a few strange tricks available.
There was a recent thread on what type of weapon you could get --- like a Trebuchet.
CL + ML tricks can get the most amount of Mods on it.
Mantled opens up the off-list powers, and frees up a feat slot or two.
I figure it is always worth it when 4th level powers come around,
or maybe the very next class level after that.
It also adds higher level powers to the List, and provided a helper hangs around,
it opens up powerstones and dorjes as a get-out-of-jail combat option.
Recharge makes a PsyWar :
1 to 5 ...... slightly below average, say Tier 3 or 4
6 to 10 ... very high Tier 1
11 to 15 ... high Tier 1
16+ ... Tier 2 ish but without the 8s and 9s goodies.
If the power selection was limited in the mid-range levels, it wouldn't be so bad.
PsyWar 2 / Ardent 10 / Erudite 1 / Slayer 9 ... not necessarily in that order.

Ubernoob had a Lock build, just before he left (and deleted it).
I did it with him, might still have it somewhere. Anyway, it only had a few levels PW.

I did it with him
Kinky.

Tshern might have a Lock build ... even if he's soft pedaling the PsyWar part.
Ahh that's what I meant.
;)

Could you find and post it? I remember it and would love it if you could. Thanks.

Definitely wasn't in any of my logs. Incidentally, I did find an old build by carnivore that probably was never posted here or 339. Strange.
Anyway, the build was really easy. If I have time at some point (not for a few days, going to Belgium) I can just recreate it.

You've got carnivore on IM?

You've got carnivore on IM?
No, found from another folder, something I've copied from my PM box.

Dude! I love these daily Endarire threads, now a days. Thanks E.
One of my favorites is
The Psychic Warrior all day long.
Human Psychic Warrior
Feats:
H. Psyonic talent
1 psionic body
Psionic Talent x more times.
Maybe quicken, Maybe Expanded knowledge, maybe robilars gambit (vampirc weapon or claws are standard honestly), maybe linked power, but its totally customizable to your liking while maintaining the idea behind the build
You end up with as Power Points Comparable to psion
Hit Points Comparable than a barbarian, when he rages? You vigor.
This build is actually BETTER in pathfinder, because there you do it as a half giant.
Further, this build is awesome in e-6, you are truly one of the badest muthafuckers in that world depending on how many bonus feats in you are.
You run about popping off G.Concealing Amorpha's, and you're huge... but all that is conisdered BEFORE you spend a dime on equipment optimization or really nail down the particulars of what it is you'd want to take via expanded knowledge.
Terry Tate "I'll kick ya ass ALL DAY LONG" is where thats from.
-
There's always the Talashatora build, too. A couple levels of monk (usually enough to grab Combat Reflexes as a bonus feat, so it stays while you use Expansion, and your dex drops), and psychic warrior your way to the top.

Seconding the awesomeness that is a PsyWar in E6. Human Mineral Warrior 1/PsyWar5 is one of the most fun characters I've ever played.
