So we all know they can potentially gain every spell, ever. And we also know there are ways of getting a divine character into an arcane only class, and vice-versa. And last but not least, Dragon Magic gave us ways to be treated as a divine class without being one. But what does this all mean? Archivists are able to bullshit their way into feats and capabilities other divine casters aren't capable of, first of all, and secondly, some prestige classes are absolutely hax when their abilities can be brought to bear upon certain divine spells. First, some groundwork :
-Initiate of Mystra, no brainer. Now we ignore AMF.
-Battle Blessing. Might require a level of PrC Pally, which is fine.
-Ah, but we are able to be treated as a cleric of Mystra! Acorn trick to a temple of Mystra and we get a metamagic applied for free to every spell we cast!
-Both Southern Magician and Alternate Source Spell alter how our spells fire off. One is limited per day, the other is -1 CL. Easily mitigated, and gets us into PrC's :)
So, a baseline build :
Archivist 3/Church Inquisitor 2/Incantatrix 10/Contemplative 1/Dweomerkeeper 4
Doesn't miss a single casting level, gets the full Incantatrix goodies, and Supernatural Spell from DK. Free metamagic up the wazoo, too. Add in a Node in the temple, Cooperative Metamagic with contributors, and go destroy!
If we need PrC Pally :
Archivist 3/Church Inquisitor 2/Incantatrix 10/Prestige Paladin 1/Divine Oracle 4
Most of the above, slightly better Fort save, uncanny dodge, and evasion in heavy armor. Spiffy.

Space it out right, make sure you are NOT starting in the Forgotten Realms, and enjoy raping that action economy. CL sucks, though.
Archivist 4/Crusader 1/RKV 10/PrC Pally 1/Divine Oracle 4
All the goodness of the above Archivists, with CL 17 for 9th level spells, and IL 15.5 for an 8th level maneuver if spaced correctly, also with autoquicken, uncanny dodge, and evasion in heavy armor. Planar Touchstone used to snag a domain power (greater turning, turn undead, turn elemental, get creative) and then reset as needed. Full capability to use turning for anything but turning undead, and even has a base BAB of 16. Just not quite the metamagic master the Incantatrixes are, but hell, if you're going RKV you're a gish anyhow.
EDIT : Also, if you're more inclined to do all of this from a Wizard base, use this!
Wizard 3/Metaphysical Spellshaper 3/Incantatrix 10/Contemplative 3/Prestige Paladin 1
Needs Battle Blessing, Initiate of Mystra, and Alternate Source Spell. Two sources of mitigation and free metamagic, plus the freebie for being a Mystran, access to the Cleric and Paladin lists, a Domain, and a couple minor features from PrC Pally and Contemplative. Interestingly, if you take Sword of the Arcane Order, it doubles your CL.

It's purely unnecessary. It just adds more awesome to an already overpowered mix of Tier 0 awesome :P

What's the stuff in Dragon Magic you were referring to earlier? The stuff which lets us pretend to be a divine class though we're not?

Wait... if there are ways to get a class treated as divine/arcane, is there a way to make a base class be treated as psionic?

Adaptation provides all we need. You're cut off from your home pantheon (i.e. being in Greyhawk) :P
