Me as:
Samurai Jack
That explains why you're unsheathing the sword the wrong way!

That depends on the attack he's going to perform.

No, no it doesn't. The blade shouldn't face the ground when sheathed. Ever.

hey, i'm not a real samurai, just a pretend one ^^

As a matter of fact, I don't consider myself one, either. I got a long way to go before that.

Have I already mentioned that your daughter is so darned cute she makes me want to gobble her up?  :P

Awesome picture. We took my son out trick or treating, too. He'll be 2 in February. He had a blast, and so did my wife and I. We sure didn't have to tell him what it was about. As soon as the first front door opened, he was grabbing candy with both hands and sticking it into the bag I was carrying for him. :D

This time the knight did not hunt the dragon! Did you do the chainmail yourself?

I wish I had more time to prepare something this Halloween (damn exam), I manages to create an acceptable pirate costume  in 15 minutes though: eyepatch, bandana, sword (made from aluminium foil, cardboard and a bamboo-stick)  and "The gospel of The Flying Spaghetti Monster" in my right hand. Actually think I managed to convert a guy to pastafarism, he said he could not stop thinking of how nice it would be with spaghetti, meatballs and tomato-sauce with oregano.

My cousin did.  A few years ago, he had a renaissance-themed wedding, and I was one of the grooms men.  So, instead of wearing a tux, we wore chainmail.  He said it took about 40 hours to do each suit.  He made the trim out of green anodized rings.

I think he took a shortcut and bought pre-formed rings this time.  He used to actually bend the rings out of wire years ago when he was doing this as a hobby.

Man you're lucky.  The chain shirt I have is about 50 pounds, and it's a mother to wear for any length of time.

I know a few people who do that as a hobby. Not my cup of tea, but I understand why it attracts people...
