The Kalmar Nyckel, a square-rigged three-master, is docked at Salisbury Beach, MA from now through Sunday, and I'm on board as crew!  Come aboard for a tour of an almost entirely authentic replica of a 17th-century Dutch pinnace that made FOUR round-trip transatlantic crossings!  Also, meet me IRL!  (I'm the one with a yarmulke, and will definitely be aboard from 12:30 to 4:00 Saurday, and possibly other times.)

Seriously, though, it's really cool and worth seeing.

As Josh said though, this weekend is the Lowell Folk Festival- the largest free folk festival in the nation and a weekend I look forward to all year long.  My mother came down for it and everything.
