"You add one and a half times your strength bonus on your damage when you hit with an unarmed strike."  Then it says doesn't apply if you do flurry of blows or if holding anything in either hand, and must use both hands to make the unarmed attack.  That's it.

Ah.  That's so much better than Realms Help makes it seem!

Now the kicker: does it make it as a THW for things like power attack?  Or is it just str?

Just says str.  Anything more would be part of a RAI debate and/or houserules.

Well, I'm just waiting for Sinfire's verdict on the Warmage + Versatile Spellcaster + Rainbow Servant thing, and then I will finalise a character.

I think at the moment, I might be looking at dual or triple arcane caster only, and dropping feral for phrenic. Thing is, I am in lust with skill points. Having 3 skill points a level makes me sad. So, Int and Cha are pretty much what I would want to have. Dex is a close second, seeing as Faerie Mysteries Initiate means Con is pretty much no longer as desireable.

Hope this won't come back and bite me in the goolies...

SiFi, I'm curious.  What Hexblade fix do you want used?

A personal one that is somewhat stronger than the Duskblade, but more multiclass friendly (I'm aiming for high end of Tier 3, low end of Tier 2).

Hey, Sinfire. How would you adjudicate Warmage + Rainbow Servant?

With the early entry trick? Versatile Spellcaster doesn't grant spell slots, rather it allows you to convert lower level spells into a stronger one while casting said stronger spell (it never grants the actual spell slot). Furthermore, Rainbow Servant only adds spells from the Cleric list itself, not from domains).

OK. It gets the spells of the domains added to its list, which it then knows automatically.

So I will need Heighten Spell to get the early entry? Or are you saying that Versatile Spellcaster only allows me to increase spell level by 1 (i.e., 2 level 1 slot to 1 level 2 slot, and never any higher)?

VS doesn't make spell slots, reread the feat. It converts spell slots into a spell that you cast. You would need heighten spell for early entry, and I believe that RS has skill requirements.

Okay, so I'm thinking that maybe my character can just be a back-up in case anyone drops out or dies because, as much as I would love to finish it up right now, I'm somewhat busy with other aspects of my life, so the sheet will take a few more days (and the games appear to be filling up rather rapidly).

Where can I find it?  I'm looking for options to gestalt Blue Mage with and Hexblade is Cha. based.

Edit: I'm also tempted to work towards Rift Magi except that I wouldn't be able to get the Moon Magic feats.

Okay. This is the stub for Sinfire to approve:

Fire-Souled Feral Desert Kobold
(Dread Necromancer//Sorcerer) 1 -> (DN//Sorc)1/Rainbow Servant 10/something x

Fire-Souled is from Dragon314, pg23. I found it here: http://www.crystalkeep.com/d20/rules/DnD3.5Index-Templates.pdf

To make sure:
ECL 3
43 pt buy (min 10 in any ability score pre-racial)
2700 gp to spend

Questions:
1. (Dread Necro//Sorcerer) = *all* spellcasting in light armour no ASF?
2. Loredrake sub = both Dread Necro & Sorcerer +2 spellcasting? (Same question with Greater Draconic Rite)
3. Dread Necro + Versatile + Heighten = Rainbow Servant at level 2 (3rd level spells, Know Arcana 4)?
4. Fate Points = 1?
5. Any love for the Dread Necro (e.g., ACF, dropping non-Good alignment restriction, changing Rebuke to Turn Undead, etc.)? I seem to recall a time when necromancy means *life and death*, not just undeath. Cure spells were necro spells...

I think that's it for me for now.

1: Yes.
2: Yes, but last I checked the Dragonic Rites only granted SLAs and a CL bonus, so correct me if it grants spells.
3: Yes.
4: Dead on.
5: DN's have no alignment restrictions, despite the class saying Non-Good (they didn't enforce it).

Haven't finished it yet, though once it is done, I'll be posting it on BG's Home Brew. And Rift Magi have the option to select Fighter bonus feats in place of Moon Magic feats if they aren't able to take the Moon Magic feats for some reason.

I think Fire-Souled is actually LA +2 or +3 - that's one of the many errors in the Crystalkeep pdfs. Someone not AFB could double-check.

I'm also thinking Blue Mage // Sublime Way Marshall.  Eventually taking a level of Spellthief and then the Master Spellthief feat.

Fire-Souled is a +3 level adjustment.
