I've had, in the past, the title screen to Phantasy Star IV, a series of drawings that I liked (some of which were done for me), a promotional art picture for Sword of Mana, a wallpaper from the game Mabinogi, and a few others. Right now, it's a default, as I just had to reinstall my computer from scratch. When I figure out what my newest wallpaper will be, I'll post it.

Ubuntu. Nice. Mine is just the default Timezones IBM background for my laptop since i use it for work. My home PC just got formatted and updated to vista 64bit, to take advantage of my increased ram, so i haven't had a chance to find a good wallpaper for it yet.

I have a cousin who watched It when he was eight or nine and he's the same way. He hates clowns; particularly that one. I watched It when I was thirteen or so and that was bad enough. Although, it's funny: if you watch It now, it really seems stupid and hokey.

Everyone in my family has always been huge horror/monster movie fans. I also happened to be a fan of cult and exploitation films, and knew people like me. And one of them had a father who didn't give a damn what his son watched so we got to see a lot of weird shit at art theaters and bootleg VHS. It's prolly what accounts for my warped sense of humor...

d20 modern has stats for children. Check the ordinaries section. If you don't like d20 Modern (then you're crazy) you can always just use the bit on kids in whatever system, or use that as a starting point.

All Flesh is it's own system, it can be used with D20 Modern, but... actually children might be the one thing that d20 modern's base classes work for...

I'm pretty sure it was Beethoven who was really German, not Mozart (Who was a genuine Austrian, IIRC).

A few wallpapers I made based on my roleplaying characters.
I'm a very bad draftsman, so I use the photoshop. And before anyone ask... yes, I use pictures of famous people, but simply because there's a ton of pictures to choose, and if I later decide to make another wallpaper for the same character, I can pick another image in a different pose.

It reminds me of a joke two of my coworkers did. One made a web site that would scroll through the list of all files in the system32 directory and list them with the word "deleting" in front of it. The other made a site that was just a BSOD, set to render at full screen with no border. He linked his site to the first one, having it open after five seconds or so. Basically, you'd look at this list of system32 files being "deleted" and then you'd get what looks like a BSOD. You pretty much have to ALT + TAB out of it or ALT + F4 to close it. It was funny to see the looks on some people's faces.

one of my favorite gags is to take a screenshot of the desktop and set that as the wall paper. Then proceed to remove all the icons from said desktop and hide the task bar by dropping it to just a little like on the side or top of the screen so they don't accidentally mouse over it and notice.

I've done similar things. They guys I work with will do wierd things to your PC if you leave it unlocked. So I'd set a screenshot of my desktop as my desktop image, so when I lock the computer, it looks like I left it unlocked. I then drag the logon window to the very bottom of the screen so only a couple pixels of it are showing. The only shame is they won't mess with my PC unless I'm not there, so I'm not there to see the looks on their faces.

Have you ever watched Batman Beyond, Return of the Joker? I like it as an animated movie, and they don't pull so many punches with the Joker in that one. Also, I've seen two different versions. My DVD version has slightly different footage.

I am quite fond of the TAS-movie "Mask of the Phantasm". You actually get to see the corpse of a guy the Joker killed (it is blown up shortly thereafter). You also get to see some new parts of both the Joker's and Bruce's past.

The one aired on TV was the edited version. The DVD release is fully uncut, and shows the Joker and Terry at their best. It's kinda awesome when Terry gives the Joker a run for his money by making wise-cracks.

Risada.. that's my favorite console game! Nothing has ever come close to matching it's glorious storyline or sweet game play. The Tactics Advanced additions were terrible. I remember twenty minutes into playing the newest one that I got a sudden urge to get into game development just to secure that a decent sequel to FFT would find its way into existence. What a game.

Well, the Swiss are... sort of a special case. They use three different languages in their own country, and their German is nigh unintelligible to an Austrian or German if they've got a strong accent.
But yes, language-wise I'm German.
And hey, at least the chance is higher than if it were Spanish, or even French.

Prak, IMG tags don't work like URL tags. You need to have a start and closing tag and you put the URL in between them, like so:

this was one of my shots, its been my wallpaper ever since i took it.
i think the orange glow on the house is infrared. the house is facing several hundred feet of open water, with no appreciable lights.
