really?  "A slain familiar can be raised from the dead just as a character can be, and it does not lose a level or a Constitution point when this happy event occurs."

From the spell Reincarnate: "For nonhumanoid creatures, the DM should create a similar table of creatures of the same type or simply choose the new form."

Also: "Constructs, elementals, outsiders, and undead creatures can't be reincarnated."

Characters can be all these things, so your familiar follows the same rules.

Q422: Does anyone remember which issue of Dragon Magazine (it was during the 3.5 period) had rules for all sorts of firearms and associated feats?

Thanks in advance :)

EDIT: Nevermind, found it. It was Dragon 321.

On to 423 I guess :)

Q 423: Is there a way to let a polymorphed creture who can't hold weapons (but it can use it before the transformation) to use weapons?

A423: the creature could for example grow a pair of arms using the spell Girallon's Blessing (SpC), allowing it to wield a weapon.

Sunic may be more abrasive than sandpaper coated in chainsaws (not that its a bad thing, he really does know what he's talking about), but just posting in this thread without warning and telling him he's an asshole which, if you knew his past experiences on WotC and Paizo is flat-out uncalled for. Never mind the insults (which are clearly 4Chan-level childish). You say people like Sunic are the bane of the internet? Try looking at your own post and telling me you are better than him.

Here's a fun fact: You aren't. By a few leagues.

To clarify: Mouthpick weapons are weapons that can be wielded in the mouth, but they must replace a bite attack. Gloves of Man are gloves that allow the hand wearing them to grasp weapons.

Q424: Does Battle Jump (Unapproachable East) enable someone to charge for free when one "hurls him/herself down", or does it require a separate action to attack? The feat says nothing of the sort, but my DM seems to believe otherwise.

As a continuation of the question, suppose someone has that maneuver (name escapes me at the moment) that allows you to jump as a swift action, and is in Leaping Dragon stance, and Battle Jump. Would you be able to "bouncing charge"? (That is, jump as a swift action, drop on foe, jump as a move, drop on foe, jump as a standard, drop on foe?)

Q425:  What are some non-equipment ways to get bonuses on ranged attack damage (besides sneak / skirmish / sudden strike)?  I want to make a Penetrating Shot / Deadeye Shot based NPC halfling Rogue, but the damage output doesn't look that great.

Sharpshooter and Crossbow Sniper add 1.5 Dex to your damage when within (surprise, surprise) 30 feet.

Q426a:How much would it cost?

Q427: I am looking for a specific dragon magazine.  It has a list of familiar oriented feats, including getting extras and other such things.  Does anyone know the Issue number?

If you can remember tha name of any one of these feats, The DragonDex feat index can help. Simply Ctrl+F the name of the feat, and it will give you the article title and issue number.

The Magic Item Compendium lists ways to enhance magic items; adding +6 Dex to an item costs 36,000 gp. If you base this on Gloves of the Shadow Hand (Novice), they'll cost 39,000 gp.

A425: The Targetteer Fighter variant from Dragon (also available on Crystalkeep) has a nice ability called Vital Aim. Replace one of your bonus feats with the ability to ad Dex to damage :)

While we're on the subject of Fighter dips, see Drow of the Underdark for the Hit and Run Fighter 1. Lose absolutely nothing that matters, gain dex to damage within 30 feet if flat footed and +2 init.
