Strapping on his pistol, Loder looks sharply at the kid.  "Trouble.  Get under the bunk and stay there until I come get you."

*Ka-BOOOOOM--!!!!*

Richard's gun rocks the jungle night, sounding like a peal of thunder having crashed down. Sadly, he wasn't expecting them to be above him-- his aim was a little off...

{alright... before I will continue I will await everyone's initiatives... unless you're AWOL. Then you'll just have to come in later}

At the first shot, Eisen sat fully up from the couch he'd collapsed into (at E7) - not an uncommon method of wary sleep for the German, rifle in his lap quickly raised to his shoulder - and peered around the room. As Richards gun goes off, Eisen stands at a combat ready crouch, aiming at a shadow he sees, though sways somewhat as his not-warm muscles attempt to move much more quickly than they should have, the bleary man taking a few seconds to come to terms with his surroundings.
Current location: G9

Initiative: 12
"Shit! What was that!" John hisses as he jumps up from the couch, grabbing his SMG as he listens and scans the area for any hostile activity.

"Eisen, Russo, you awake? You see or hear anything?" he asks as he peers through the room, his Tommygun at the ready.

20the roller fudged my rolls a couple of times so I'm just going off the roll I actually saw lol if you find any other and find them more preferable then feel free to make Russo slower/faster
Russo starts awake as the gun cracks like thunder, bleary eyed and drooling on the chessboard he sits up suddenly in the chair ((E9))

"Shit! what was that!" cried John

"whosamattawhatsit?" is Russo mumbled response, he looks around blinking "its just a storm" he says rubbing his eyes taking stock of Eisen's flitting "gees you two are jumpy this morning."
hmmmm what is the light like in this room? did we turn out the lamps before we went to sleep? since this is a steam driven boat that must mean we have gas or oil lanterns unless bones has a generator stashed away somewhere that would probably mean we extinguished them for fear of burning the boat down. and if its dark that means we see nothing right? or if its a candle's worth of light thats 5ft
Two oil lamps burn within their glass encasing. One lantern is on the table in the Galley, the other is hanging from a hook in the ceiling in the lounge. They were turned down low, and at current, low on oil as well...

ROUND #1

Initiative order:

18 Richard
18 Cannibals
13* Russo
12 Kestrel
12 Cannibals
8 Loder
7 Pingo
3 Eisen
3 Bones
0** Max

Richard-- Go! (But that Sharp's Big Fifty you wield is a single shot rifle, it is a Full-Round action to clear it(a half to clear the chamber, and another half to load another .50 cal shell. You still do get a free 5-foot action. Maybe if you hide amongst the asses they won't notice you. :P)

The rest of you...If you wish to post your action early, and allow it to "go off" in Sequence, go ahead. If you aren't immediately in combat, this shouldn't be a problem.

EDIT: Pingo Init Updated

* I found this other one, but I did see the one that was totally nerfed, as well. I can understand if this one hadn't come up. But I have to use it.
** I am awaiting an Initiative Roll from you.

Lighting is considered to be Shadows. Characters in shadows can make a hide check to conceal one's self. Character in shadows can see dimly. They also are considered to half one-half concealment.

The two lanterns in the lounge have a radius of 20'. You aren't sure how much life is left in them, but not more than a half hour's worth. Laterns cast bright light, anything within is not considered in Shadows.

You also have flashlights.

Quickly, Eisen realizes that, with the one of them down with them, the gun fire seemingly had not come from where he was. Eisen heads upstairs, replacing the rifle on his shoulder while taking out his as yet unused Walther P38, and a flashlight in the other hand. Ideally, he heads out to investigate the problem and pull anyone else downstairs to a more defendable position.
Richard reloads in a blur, the empty shell casing falling to the deck with a nearly inaudibly tink.
*Ka-BOOOOOM--!!!!*
Richard rocked off a shot into one of the dark figures on the tarped-roof. Though he couldn't see it, Richard was pretty sure it must have been a kill shot. He had hit center mass. Cannibal_D is gone.

Richard heard it, rather than see it-- The he felt it as a blossom of burning pain-- an arrow struck him. Richard hoped that the tip of the arrow that was lodged inside his flesh hadn't been poisoned.

Richard bleeds.-4 to Richard's HP

The one who had shot Richard gave out a bloodcurdling howl as loud as he could muster,"HOOOOOOOOOooooOOOOoOOOoOOOOoOOOOOOOooowwwWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAHHHH!"

From the shoreline on either side of the river, under the droning rainfall a repeated sound could be heard.

*Thrruuum-thrrruuum**Thrruuum-thrrruuum**Thrruuum-thrrruuum**Thrruuum-thrrruuum*

Drums, pounding a steady rhythm under the rain, but the frogs at least shut up. In fact, most of the animals in this part of the jungle had silenced themselves, almost as if they were pausing to see what would happen next.

*Thrruuum-thrrruuum**Thrruuum-thrrruuum**Thrruuum-thrrruuum**Thrruuum-thrrruuum*

From all across the ship. the intruders picked up the first mans' scream. Whipping themselves into a blood lust, the cannibals screams wordlessly for your blood.

"HOOOOOOOOOooooOOOOoOOOoOOOOoOOOOOOOooowwwWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAHHHH--!!!"

And... It is Russo's action!
Since I'm not in combat yet I can still move freely I assume. If so Pingo would like to continue his movement to around the corner towards Bones. It's low light, can I see the cannibal at E-4? If so I would like to engage him. Initiative (1d20+2=7)
Okay, I have inserted you into the initiative order. You will discover that Bones LOCKED his door before he passed out. Perhaps you can alert the men in the Lounge next to you.

Also, at this point I have initiated combat with all players. So you will be restricted to the standard movement that goes along with that.

Russo hears this noise quite clearly and it is obvious it is no storm

"What the Hell is going on!?" he draws his pistol looking scared in the half light suddenly wide awake and moving over to the doors ((D9))

"I..uh I think we should go wake up Heather and Anna, how about it John? Max? Eizen?" he pulls on his leather jacket and looks to the others clearly wanting one of them to go first

There is the sound of breaking glass coming from the upper deck's main cabin. Max, Russo, Pingo, and Eisen here a loud screaming coming directly from Bones' cabin.

BONES
The cannibal screaming at the top of his lungs "HOOOOOOOOOooooOOOOoOOOoOOOOoOOOOOOOooowwwWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAHHHH!"He attacks Bones (1d20+1=14: MISS, 1d8+1=4) thrusting the blade of his spear at him. Bones drunkenly dodges, but just barely. The cannibal moves back to D-5, right next to Bone's prized steamer truck, at first his sudden retreat was confusing, but Bones quickly learned why as a second crazed screaming cannibal drops down the hatch hole into the room, at E-4 in front of Bones.
"HOOOOOOOOOooooOOOOoOOOoOOOOoOOOOOOOooowwwWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAHHHH!" The cannibals scream together-- a primitive shock & awe tactic.
LODER has posted his action.

PINGO
Your attempt to open the door results in discovering that Bones locked the door to his cabin before bed. You can hear the blood-curdling screams of the cannibals from just on the other side of the door. There is a second entrance, in the Lounge and from the look of things Sgt. Kestrel would be trying that door next.

You have one half action remaining.
Eisen has posted his action... but will it get changed at this point?

Bones gets to go as well...

Max has not rolled Initiative and will not be taking an Action this round.

As soon as I get a final word from Eisen and of course Bones turn, I will create the cinematic Round Write-up, and we shall begin the second round.

(Oh, Bones-- please read the details for the Drunken Condition. I have posted these on the Rules board at the very bottom. Be aware of the balance thing)

"Yeah, Russo," the German seems to be smiling in the dim light, making it seem somewhat cruelly evil and dark, "let's go wake up your women. There's a party here, and we wouldn't want those beauties to miss it, would we?" Eisen says, in an uncharacteristically whimsical way as he ascends the stairs on guard.
I'll keep my action, and don't forget about John/Bowen!
