Wish granted! You now look like SixthDeclension's avatar. You spend the rest of your life with a bag over your head getting electrocuted in a chair. You don't really know if you still look like your avatar or not, considering the bag, but the people who put you in the chair said they did some plastic surgery. You can trust them because they said you could, but you're never really sure.

I wish I had a pet gorilla, except that it was the size of a small dog, so it was manageable.

Wish granted! Lightning splits the sky in half, twice. During the second time, it hits the plane that's supposed to take me to my destination. This pisses me off immensely, so I use my super powers to track you down and disembowel you. The sky heals back up afterwards and strikes your remains with a retalitory bolt of lightning.

I wish that I could teleport from place to place and not suffer any repercussions from this type of traveling...

Granted; but when you try teleporting you end up in floating in space with the earth speeding away from you. You are at the exact spacial coordinates you wished to reach though.
