Kuro, those are great pictures. The first looks so badass but I really like the second. Pictorially it's a great photo but it just really captures you well. Very cool.
You flatter me, Meg. Of course, knowing how to actually hold a sword helps. So does the hat.
Though, frankly, I think my Gendou cosplay pictures look better. I'd have already uploaded them if I hadn't misplaced the damn CD.

They're actually manga. My gaming book collection is on the opposite wall. It only shows a small part of it, too.
I have to say, I didn't picture Kuro as looking like that, but it does fit him. Especially the sword.
I'm sure you pictured someone who looked a little more crazy than that, yes?
And yes, I have a slight fascination with melee weapons. I actually have a wooden naginata at home, even though I don't train with it (yet).
Further info on the pics: the first was snapped at an anime convention (it was raining that day, hence the cape and hat. Umbrellas are for wimps!). The second was snapped by a friend I hadn't seen in a while at the time, and she was playing around with her digital camera (she shoots photos for a living, so it's no surprise the pic is good, though she did have me pose for it). We actually did a short photo shoot of me in various positions in hakama and gi with my various practice weapons, too.
